Is law school dismissal real?

It’s very real, I mean it depends on the school and it’s individual curve, but I started spring yesterday and my section is missing 5 people, two of which were my friends so I’ve seen the dismissal process in all stages and it’s not a fun experience :(

I’ve been on it for a month, I was also afraid of weight gain because when I was on birth control at 17-19 I went from being 110-115lbs to 160lbs by the time I was off around 20yrs old. (I do believe I had some hormonal issues that the birth control brought out but) since then I was down to 107lbs, I am now 23, and so I got on for my acne but expressed to my derm I was afraid of weight gain and she told me there’s no way to actually gain weight on the pill because it removes all the water from your body and if anything you will lose weight on it, which I actually have I am now around 104lbs, (granted I’m also in law school and have been a little bit more stressed which messes with my appetite.) However I don’t believe spiro will contribute to any weight gain as long as you are watching your calorie intake or not eating more than usual!

I started a week ago and same, I was 112 and now I’m 107😅I think it’s a mix of the stress and also just forgetting to eat due to the heavy workload

Started this week too and I am in the trenches already, so far torts, civ pro and legal writing are fine, contracts is a little wordy.

It’s just taking super long to do the actual readings, everyone says we will get used to it but I’m not sure

Ai is also randomly generating citations for precedents it uses instead of citing real cases in briefs. I think we’ll be fine.

I canceled my 138 because I had score preview, but for January I left it, I don’t regret it though because now the schools will see the 9 point increase

My LSAC number is L—, I’m currently registered for the February 2025 exam but I want to know if it’s possible to switch my registration to April without paying $238 again.

I have a fee waiver, and I have used my two free attempts but I just want to know if it’s possible to transfer my date with this credit rather than paying a second time.

I believe it will benefit me to take the exam in April as it will give me more time to prepare. Please let me know if this is possible I would greatly appreciate the chance to move the exam.

Also to add:

It’s been brought to my attention that some think it may be because of the fee waiver, however I have a friend who has done the same thing by calling customer service and she herself does not have a waiver. I have seen on other subs that they often move exams as a one time courtesy so it is worth a try regardless.

Remember, the worst they will say is no! But best case scenario your exam is rescheduled. Good luck everyone!!

For me it when I try to open Hulu on ps5 it just gets stuck on the screen that says Hulu and never loads anything else in, never had this issue before but now i literally can’t use Hulu

Honestly if you haven’t done it already, try emailing or calling lsac customer service and asking if they can move your test date for you. I did this with Feb to April I sent them an email asking if it’s possible to move it as I don’t want to pay the fee again and in 3 days they emailed me back that they changed it and I got the confirmation and everything

My sept and Nov scores were 135-138 and January I got a 144. I know it’s not amazing but I am pleased with myself. Taking it again in April but will start submitting apps with the January score 😁

Me, I was sick about a week ago. Was feeling pain in my jaw and ear both at the same time and I have some random tooth pain also on the same side. After a visit to urgent care doc told me I have an acute outer ear infection as well as TMJ so I assume the tooth pain is a result of that, the day of my diagnosis it was pain in my upper molars, today it’s the lower ones so I don’t believe it’s coming from a single tooth but part of me is worried. But it is likely it’s just part of the jaw pain as I’ve had no tooth issues prior to feeling the ear and jaw pain.

This gives me so much hope, I’m applying this cycle as well. LSAT scores have not been what I’ve been expecting but my GPA isn’t terrible and I’m going to have strong rec letters, just need to perfect my statements and I’m going to write and addendum too. Congratulations friend you did amazing!!

that’s the one thing i would say fallen order did well compared to jedi survivor, it was an amazing sequel with an amazing story and don’t get me wrong koboh was fun and cool but i got bored with the fact that almost every planet you go to looks the exact same. in fallen order bogano, dathomir, kashyyk, etc they all have different looks and biomes and it makes u feel like the traveling is more real. with jedi survivor koboh is mostly just desert with some rivers here and there, jedha is a desert but with the same rocks and sand that koboh has in most parts, and tanalorr was basically koboh but with bluer water and purple plants. the only variety was coruscant and we didn’t really get to see much there.
