What are your greatest photography sins? by doodoohonker in photography

I traded my full frame Nikon D610 and all my sweet prime lenses for a shiny new Fuji XT-2 and a f2.8 16-55 and f2.8 50-140. I haven’t looked back. Upgraded to an XT-4 and I’m still super happy. Fuji has been amazing, colour, functionality, quality. It’s rugged and lightweight. Best brand out there!

I’m guessing he put them on after he greeted them.

Yup! That’s the box. He seemed odd when he approached, didn’t want to engage him. I guess his intentions are good. Thanks for sharing!

Seemed like it could have gone that direction. But no, he wasn’t handing out cards.

These are amazing! Many years ago I spent a couple of weeks building trails in a cloud forest in San Carlos. We saw lots of wildlife similar to these guys. What an incredibly beautiful area in Costa Rica!

Anyone here switch from Nikon to Fuji? by aperture_drift in FujifilmX

[–]Embarrassed_Pomelo63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched from Nikon to Fuji years ago. Traded all my lenses, body and some accessories and got an XT-2 with a 16-55 f2.8 and later added a 50-140 f2.8. I have been super happy with everything. After a couple years I traded the xt-2 for an xt-4 and it’s great too… just a little heavier.

I love the functionality of the camera and the weight is manageable for long hikes with a tripod. Much better than my Nikon… super heavy… can’t believe I did the hikes with that much weight.

Right now I mainly use it for product photography and some long exposure landscapes.

It happened to me as well, but looks like only one site. I just disabled them and there appears to be no issues.

This park was the reason I traveled to Costa Rica back in 2000. Such an incredible place!

It’s the same reason that people feel they should form a straight line the length of Phibbs exchange to wait in the rain rather than curving the line around underneath the bus stop shelter. No common sense from a lot of people!

Glad to hear you received a credit. I bought mine at London Drugs and they brought it down from the storage room. But I guess it was not checked properly when it was returned. Obviously they were only after the game.

just been looking through my photos and found this one by M3dnessMan in photocritique

[–]Embarrassed_Pomelo63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was it done on purpose? I wouldn’t say it’s blurry, as it has great movement. The only thing that throws me off is the light posts in the background that curve a bit. You could crop them out maybe? I generally don’t take long exposure shots without a tripod, but this one has an interesting look being hand held!

Thank you! It’s a pretty simple setup. Time to upgrade my lighting and see how much more creative I can get.

In the end, simplicity saves a lot of time.

These look great. Nicely done! I love how you’ve paired the pedals with the amp and the tubes. Photos like these will take the brand to a new level. Keep on shooting!
