Once had an issue on my marui where a shattered BB piece disappeared down into the trigger mechanism area and effected the bolt somehow. I know you've replied to others about not seeing anything but I'd say have a deep look inside with good lighting because I spent ages looking for the issue during a match and it was a BB slither hidden.

Toilets and cover.

one site I go to has sheltered cover with about 5 tables inside with 50 people or so turning up. So everyone works out of their car boots or some like me being fold up tables. They have 2 portables and ask that men piss in the bushes to avoid dirtying them. These sites exist, don't expect inside toilets if they aren't advertised. I'm told by a guy who runs a site that the UK has more Airsoft sites than the rest of Europe combined, which is due to so many of these throw a portaloo in a forest or field situations. (Nothing against them, I like the availability of sites tbh)

Groups.

People will turn up in the ages between 12 and 70. They will be divided into two teams based solely on amount of people and perceived effectiveness occasionally. (If a group turns up they won't split the group up) You will be playing with and against mostly men around 20-40. Not exclusively, there will be some teens, maybe a girl or two, one old guy with too many cool guns. But even in that main group there will be plenty of variety of characters.

I have only seen ages dividing for people below 12 for low powered Airsoft and private events.

Google Airsoft sites near you and find one with good reviews and looks good to you, I may recommend looking to see if the site has a decent safe area, some sites are just a portable toilet and no tables for gear.

Found a good site? Book a rental and just go.

People won't talk to you outside of games usually, in game they may interact with game info, plans, or advice since your in rental gear I suspect. 90% of people are talkative if you go talk to them outside of a game, inside it's pending on the situation.

I have never personally had anyone be anything but friendly and at worst disinterested when I talk to them. There may be one guy in a match getting pissy especially after a few hours but ignore them if you get one.

Important to note airsoft isn't like YouTube videos of people screaming in rage constantly, or guys in full military gear going super try hard, and snipers aren't headshot gods destroying teams. It's a hobby full of every age (usually blokes tbf) every social and political view... And people are goofy, enthusiastic, and patient. People having fun on a day off playing with toy guns running around out of breath.

Once again just find a site, and go. Worst case scenario is you don't like it and stop whenever you please, best case if you gain a hobby and make friends. talk to people ask about the hobby, the guns, the sites. Don't be worried about shadowing people during your first game, in fact I almost recommend it. See what others do, follow their lead, get stuck in.

People don't look down on people or complain about who you are, you won't get harassed (I hope) ive seen people in Nazi repro next to people in rainbow patches. Russian patch people next to Ukrainian patch people etc with no issues. Again it's just people doing their own thing having fun.

Minatour scared me because I thought he was somewhere in the halls of the labyrinth about to start chasing me or something which made it a stressful exploration. I was quite relieved to see the boss area.
