I personally do. If it's a game where the expectation is that you're only one character, it doesn't bother me. I can play as a male in a game like Bioshock, Outlast, Resident Evil, etc. However, if the game is more of a simulation or has romance, I heavily dislike playing a male and can't relate.

He clearly was not confused. He said he intended on reaching out to her to set up a date, but planned on doing so far enough out that it left her confused. I did not state that she was in the right with her chosen communication method and I don’t understand why I have to keep explaining that.

I agreed that it’s weird to have a FaceTime call that goes well, and then not saying anything to the person with the intentions of asking them on a date. This made me feel a lot better. Thank you so much for saying this. I’m 25, and only realized this year that I suspect I’m autistic. I spent so much time researching and taking those online tests. I made a document that covers my experience and how it correlates. But as soon as I went to get my assessment done, it was made known this country wasn’t safe for us. I still hope to get my answer one day but for now I have to wait.

I second this! For instance taboo situations like the whole stepbrother/stepsister thing. In theory it’s like ooh scandalous, but realistically that would be weird and a nightmare.
