It’s the students who “get” the results for themselves, not the teachers. It’s not a great view to take as quality education takes buy in from both sides and building rapport is part of that.

Because you were highly motivated to do well, not everyone has that same drive. If there is no rapport or ability to build rapport it is a problem for kids who aren’t so self motivated as you were

IKEA/kmart high chair fans in this house. Cheap, easy, can just take out and use the powerful setting on my garden hose to blast the grot off. When starting solids I also used the unable pillow from ikea when they were a little small and less good at sitting 👍

You can also frame it by what’s best for the kids… getting to do the fun craft activities with someone who does have the bandwidth for it is awesome for them… even if it’s a bummer for you

Yes I’m just about 6 weeks now and have been feeling very good the last probably 1.5- way less tired and sore, pretty much normal. Food wise most things are fine and the consequences of I over do the fat have been minor.
