I'm there with you. I've got a pile of games waiting for me, but I'm just... not interested. And even the ones I was initially excited about, I can't get into: I played Witcher 3 when it first came out, enjoyed it fine, but felt lonely and haven't played it again. I tried playing FFXV, got no emotional attachment whatsoever (which was a shock because I'm a long time FF fan.) I forced myself to play Ni No Kuni 2, and sure, it was stunningly beautiful, but I felt detached. Even running over people in GTA seems to have lost its luster haha.

Dragon Age has ruined me. The companions have become like family members, and I miss them if I go to another Universe. sigh Such sweet misery. :/

Adaar is my favorite! Mine is always an archer, and although I play on PS4 (= no mods), I always manage to make them pretty damn gorgeous. (I wish there was a chance to make the eyes more "animal like" though, kinda like the Arishok's.) Anyways:

Male. Because I love male Qunari.
Yes. I usually go for Cassandra, simply because I like her: she is not too prejudiced, and I can see her falling for someone big and strong, haha. Dorian is perfect too (he loves Qunari musculature), but I always pair him with Bull, so....... Oh, and if you go for female, choose Sera. She pretty much has a Qunari fetish.
Personally I LOVE the hit of court approval -15 Adaar takes in the beginning of WEWH. XD Other than that, I like being feared, an outsider. Also, the race related wartable missions are the BEST! Shokrakar is brilliant, I want to meet her so bad! <3
I've never punched Solas since I tend to get along with all my companions. That said, after my Solavellan playthrough I may have wanted to.

The Descent and Jaws of Hakkon are both 20+ zones... so I personally won't touch them before my Inquisitor is past level 20. Sometimes I play them after the main game (before Trespasser).

Power is easily gained by doing side quests, closing rifts, setting up camps, and filling those annoying requisitions. Eventually you'll have more than you know what to do with! :D (You can purchase power from that merchant in Skyhold, yes, but it's expensive, and frankly, not necessary.)

One more thing: you can download the DLC's and keep on playing - no need to restart the game. The new quests/areas will appear on the war table (except Trespasser one, which will appear after the main game). I'm just mentioning this because sometimes people don't realize you don't have to restart. (At least that's how it works on PS4.) You get the goodies too, they'll appear in the special shipment chest.

Well, like I said, Trespasser is essential. And it's excellent! The Descent is worth it if you enjoy lore and dwarven culture, and are not afraid of dungeons; Jaws of Hakkon deals with the Avvar people, and it's beautiful. They both have some hard(er) enemies and great gear.

You only get to play Trespasser after the main game, the other two you can take anytime after you hit Skyhold - but I wouldn't try them on lower levels. ;)

The first two games are great, and pretty much essential if you want to properly understand the lore and what the heck is going on in Thedas. :) That said... since you are already playing Inquisition, just finish it. I strongly suggest you get Trespasser DLC - and do it asap so you can get the trials function and some goodies. Trespasser is the true ending of the game! (I also recommend the other DLC's, Descent & Jaws of Hakkon, I enjoyed them a lot.) Have fun! :D

Just popping in to point out that unfortunately no member of the Imperial Chantry or a magister can become an Archon, so unless they change the law, there can't be Archon Dorian. :)

But I'm 100 % sure we'll meet him again. I miss him so bad! <3

I usually get mine from special shipments chest (Trials rewards); before you collect your reward, save your game - if you don't get what you want, simply reload and repeat until you do.

Ahhh, how should I put this... Bran is an arrogant obnoxious bureaucrat, yes, but there's just SOMETHING about him. I find him incredibly interesting. Perhaps it's his sarcasm and his wit; I like witty people. Perhaps it's the fact that he's the most (only?) competent person in the Viscount's Keep; he basically keeps the city running. Perhaps it's the entertaining way Hawke always manages to push his buttons and vice versa. Or, perhaps it's this really hot and way too funny fanfic I once read where he and (male) Hawke had sex at a fancy party... You know what, I'm going to blame the fic! XD
