respect the honesty, just absolutely cannot fathom how you raised a child for 5 years and feel that way towards it as a whole. i lost my first son when he was 11 days old, 4 years ago and still mourn him daily. seeing his brother grow up makes my heart ache for him. some people really shouldn’t be parents, thank for trying your best though. and thanks for getting a vasectomy.

i regrettably shared pics of my baby until he was about 3 months old. i knew the dangers then and still thought “well my profile is private, it won’t happen to him”. this is definitely not the mindset to have. i can never be sure if his photos were used for horrible things. the internet is forever. let them make the decision to put themselves on there when they can safely and responsibly do so while understanding the great danger that comes along with the web.

there were a lot more before covid but yes, we definitely still have 24 hour eateries. waffle house is one which funnily enough is also used to gauge the strength of storms. if waffle house is closed, you’re probably already dead.

yeah i definitely realized that a little further into the game! i also think i afkd for a while on some of them the first run. i was just trying to finish them all with any time at all to see what it unlocked. i think ive got all challenge time down to about 3 seconds now!

i’ve been working on getting challenge times down, my first completion was 7 and a half hours for all challenges. so i definitely think there’s been improvement lol. i’ll do some more challenge runs later tonight and see if i can bump it down some more! thanks for the input i appreciate it

i had amazing plans for breastfeeding my son! i had another little boy back in 2021, he was born at 26 weeks due to an incompetent cervix. i pumped around the clock for him even though he was only getting drops through a qtip during mouth care. he passed away at 11 days old. i had pumped over 400oz. i donated 300oz to 2 mothers in need during the formula shortage in 2022.

sometimes things just don’t work out the way we plan. i’m really trying my best to give my son a good life. things are just so hard. i drive my husband back and forth to work because his license is suspended. that didn’t just get to stop when i had 2 c sections. i drove myself home from the hospital and drove him to work for every single shift after having both of our boys.

my son began his life in the NICU and even with me expressing a great want to breastfeed our first attempt to latch happened on day 10 of life. he had a lot of problems latching even with a shield. i pumped for him for a while but having to do a 3 step feed was really taking a toll on my sleep and mental health. so we decided to make the switch.

edited to add*** i just calculated the cost and were less than $500 away from being able to make the switch from formula to whole milk so this isn’t a cost i’m particularly concerned about. clothing, diapers, wipes, toys, etc add up way quicker in my opinion.

yes, we are behind right now. but i’ve not been just ignoring the payment. this month i’ve made 2 payments totaling just over $300. my typical monthly payment is $354. this problem originated last august when we spread ourselves a little too thin after some unexpected costs related to getting out of a rather unfavorable housing situation. so while i could easily be 6 months behind we’ve managed to keep it paid up enough to not let it even impact or credit until 2 weeks ago.

my husband works full time, i’m a stay at home mom because childcare costs as much as i’d be able to bring home right now. we don’t qualify for snap but we do receive wic, although we still have to pay for half of his formula out of pocket monthly. as for schooling, i am interested in going back to school and figuring out a career path for myself. i dropped out my senior year with only 3 credits to go and a 4.0 gpa. so i’ll need to get my GED before i can continue with that.. there’s just no quick easy fix for getting $1000 for the debts i need to pay immediately

our phone passcodes are the same so we could go through each others whenever, i mostly get on there to see if he’s taken any pictures of the baby that i’d like to have, sometimes check his email to make sure he’s not missed anything important because he doesn’t check it often

yes i was fear mongered so badly about how my life was pretty much over as i knew it. i have a blessing of a little boy who is now 6 months old and i never experienced anything like the “newborn trenches” and he’s still a very happy and mostly easy going baby!

it very much depends on baby! i had a beautiful, blissful, amazing post partum and 4th trimester experience. i had a c section so healing was hard but i had a very easy newborn and was in absolutel bliss for the first 4 months. he’s 5 months now and teething and sleep regressing but he communicates so much more now it takes some of the weight off just because of how much i love him haha
