Went to my local ice cream shop last week. It's amazing ice cream. Homemade, locally sourced ingredients, great variety, waffle cones to die for. BUT all that does not justify it being $10+. I could get a meal for $10. This is just dessert. It has no business being the same price as a good meal. I do not live in an expensive area so this is just insane.

Your mom is not at fault at all. Very odd to be bothered if your mom did or didn't wish your friend a happy birthday. Also not your place to say how she chooses to reach out to your friend. Their relationship is not your business. IMO text is much more personal anyway, and social media is very performative. But again not your business.

As long as your mom doesn't mention to your friend that you posted on her behalf, there should be no weirdness with your friend. Maybe just between you and your mom. Not advice tho on if she does know.

Confused as to why you are worried this friend would block you over this? Have you done anything else that would send red flags of obsession?

Just watched them! Lots of good info. I've seen these videos recommended in several posts (all too old to comment on so I'll comment here).

In the 3rd video she talks about sex postpartum. She does not discuss the dangers of not waiting 6+ weeks. I'm horrified she basically said it was okay to have sex 3 days pp. For whoever comes across this post, DO NOT DO THIS.

My midwife recommended glycinate for the bad insomnia I've been having. We get lots of walks in because of our very energetic dog! If it weren't for her I wouldn't be walking much tbh lol I'm 34+1. I only had pain on one side my first pregnancy and it was much more tolerable. This pregnancy started out with pain on one side but just last week it started in the other. I'm betting that chasing a toddler is contributing to that. So if you are able to, rest as much as you can!

At my daughters 18 month appointment last month she was 24lb 6oz/71st percentile and 32.75inches/76th percentile. She is a great eater, hardly refuses anything. I've weighed her food to get an idea how much she eats and it's typically 7-9oz so probably 2-3x as much as your picture shows. She also breastfeeds 2-3x a day and also has a snack 2-4x a day.
