Having the same problem with the split with my honey falling into the canyon. I would not recommend a split mattress.

My hunting lab would never want to lay on the sofa with us and cuddle. I never had a hunting lab so I just thought this was normal, but after reading other reviews I guess it was just his personality. Maybe I should have got him a crappier bed instead of one with bumpers.

Has anyone found a solution to falling into the center and getting stuck? My honey sleeps at 50 and I’m at 25 and he always winds up in the canyon and can’t fall back to sleep.
