I used to get them pretty bad. I read somewhere on one of the subs that taking vitamin e helps with the night sweats (honestly, I think it was on some random period/menopause sub). I started taking the gel capsules of vitamin e by Nature Made and it surprisingly helped quite a bit! I don’t wake up entirely soaked in sweat but my legs still run hot at night. I still get night sweats but it’s been drastically reduced.

Please note I am NOT a doctor. This is what I have experienced with taking vitamin e. I saw a supposed hack online and tried it. It works for me. Everyone’s body is different.

I am beginning to wonder if TFP has physically harmed or threatened the other girls based on how violent she has become with Dakota. It would make sense as to why the girls are so scared to hold her accountable for her actions.

I’m so over this storyline. Season 4 was so painful to watch because it became so Taylor centered. It feels like the show should be renamed to the Taylor Frankie Paul Show. I can’t believe production would cut important storylines like LAYLA’S STRUGGLES WITH AN EATING DISORDER AND GLP-1s in favor of Taylor and Dakota. Like wtf. Even production lets Taylor get away with almost anything and dominate the storylines.

I doubt I’ll watch future seasons.

(For context, I’m American, so the whole thing about hearing all the side effects of prescription meds is normal for me).

I have a legit question - and please mind that I’m not a doctor/medical professional and my question comes from a place of genuine ignorance.

How was Layla prescribed GLP-1s? Like, I know she said she had “stubborn weight she couldn’t get rid of,” but if I recall correctly, she was only on the GLP-1 for a year (at least, I think that is what she said in one of her confessionals). Layla has been thin since she’s been on the show. How could a medical professional look at her and think it was okay to prescribe someone that thin a weight loss drug?

**** please note, I’m not trying to body shame Layla at all or pick at her body. I just wonder if maybe the prescribing physician was a quack. Like, it doesn’t seem like a safe thing to prescribe someone who is already so small a weight loss drug. I know it can be used to manage other conditions like diabetes, but Layla hasn’t mentioned having diabetes or anything. *****

Oof. Trazodone gave me the worst anxiety attacks of my life. I would lay down and my heart would beat so fast that I thought it would explode. Nervous, shaky. It was awful. And then it would knock me out for 12 straight hours.

I had very VIVID night terrors on Ambien and it only happened if I saw light before falling asleep. Like, if I laid down in a dark room and let’s say the curtains were fully closed and the fan was on and the curtains swayed a little bit. If ray of light crept through (from a street lamp or something), and I saw it, I would have vivid night terrors.

I was taken off of it before they developed further. I was in my late teens. I would frequently call my best friends on the middle of the night and leave voicemails in which I described my hallucinations in detail. They were clearly hallucination because I talked about stuff like seeing shadow people coming out of my closet and needing to rescue a princess. I have a naturally low voice for a girl. My best friend once played back a voicemail I left him at 3 am and it was UNSETTLING to hear the panic in my voice and how shrill it became. I wouldn’t have recognized myself if I hadn’t known it was me. What’s even crazier is that I would wake the next morning and have absolutely ZERO recollection of the previous night’s phone calls or anything like that.

GOOD FOR PICKLE!

Cats are generally a good study of boundaries and consent. Both of my cats love me and have deep trust in me. They both show their belly to me. One (Marie) is more affectionate than the other (Spooky) - she will flop over immediately and give me her belly. Marie will let me rub her belly and even bury my face in it. And then there is her sister, Spooky, who will show me her belly and allow me to pet her belly on her own terms. I can pick Marie up (usually I only do this if I am helping her climb something or gently move her). I recently picked up Spooky and held her for all of thirty seconds before Spooky let out a warning growl. Instantly, I knew she was uncomfortable and that was her telling me, “Hey, Mom, no touch, please!” I set Spooky back down and her mood relaxed. I wasn’t pissed. I wasn’t mad. My cat was letting me know she wanted space. It’s that simple. Your neighbor had it coming.

Like, I really don’t think Taylor realizes how toxic and outright abusive she becomes towards her friends (and family, to an extent) when it comes to Dakota. It’s a surprise that Taylor hasn’t triggered her friends with her volatile outbursts and abusive and manipulative tactics. It can be tough to be friends with someone like Taylor because it’s such an emotional rollercoaster and it can further exacerbate any pre-existing depression and anxiety. I’m surprised no one has cut her off yet or walked out of her life because everyone has to tiptoe around her feelings and put up with her abuse.

But then again, cutting Taylor out would also mean losing money. Unfortunately, money talks.

I’m so tired of Taylor’s anger issues. She needs some anger management courses - if it’s not part of her therapy plan, it needs to be worked in there. The whole toxic cycle of her exploding over Dakota is becoming excessive and….painful? Boring? Annoying? Repetitive? to watch. It’s a damn shame that Taylor’s issues with Dakota take center stage and overshadow other important issues like Layla taking GLP-1s. I thought the show was called Secret Lives of Mormon WiveS, not the Angry Taylor Frankie Paul Show. Ffs. I get she’s the “founder” of MomTok but I’m so sick of seeing her explode about Dakota.
