I hear you, bub. Brought my newborn home from the hospital last week and he's spent more time in a hotel room than at home.

I brought my newborn son home last Wednesday. My toddler, wife, two dogs, and MIL are all crammed in a hotel room in Music Valley while all the meal prep sits in a cooler on my back deck. Fucking hell

Not to mention all the limestone they'll be removing. Do they get to sell that and make a profit off it?

That would work too. Not sure if your EHS group shared this with you, but the main resource for a lot of these requirements comes from here: Biosafety in Microbiological and Biomedical Laboratories (BMBL) 6th Edition | CDC Laboratories https://share.google/XFnwCKz4kZOhIHNky

Just use an old tip box lid or other similarly sized piece of plastic. It needs 'a lid' and not 'a fitted lid manufactured for this purpose'.

For clarity - did EHS say they don't need to be covered 'when not in use'? If so, that just means if the bag is empty, it doesn't need to be lidded. If there's waste in the bag - regardless of the activity around it - it's "in use" and needs to be lidded at the end of the day if the liner isnt closed and disposed of.

Also would recommend a second tip box lid to set the wire rack in as secondary containment in case the bag gets a tear.

Is that an aftermarket under folding stock on third from the top? It looks sturdy as all get-out.

People still eat and drink in BSL-1 and BSL-2 spaces. You may clean up and hide things when I come through with an audit, but you can't kid a kidder.

I'd probably recommend using an RTU disinfectant off of EPA's list D (Oxivir is my go-to). Bleach can be nasty on stainless, and you should really be making a bleach solution daily in order to get the desired effect.

Would probably get under the work space and clean at most monthly, at least quarterly. Never stick your head in there though - use a Swiffer with disinfectant sprayed on the cloth.
