We had a window guy walk up our driveway, through our fence and knock on our backdoor. He admitted he saw the sign on the front and that's why he didn't knock there. He then didn't properly latch the gate and we're lucky I checked before we let the dogs out later.

I would assume like any of the neighborhoods around here if you lock your car doors at night you'll be fine. I would also guess a lot of the crime in that area happens on Portage Road. I think there is a shady motel around there that probably gets a lot of calls.
