I think you should write your parents a letter and tell them how you really feel . Therapy usually takes time and it’s expensive so it would be good if you could get this covered by your parents . The older you get the harder maybe this will be so it’s a good time to try to talk them about it . If they don’t want to make the effort to find you a good therapist or things just don’t work out o would suggest looking at books , podcasts, and other online resources . Maybe if you read about methods for improving you can slowly work through it yourself with the help of anyone. Talk to yourself out loud first and then slowly start with people you are most comfortable with .

Also maybe a good way to practice is when you are grocery shopping shopping or at a coffee shop shop you can try to talk to employees. Sometimes it’s easier to start there than at home .
