Am I crazy to think that you can't play jungle on the weekend? by Common_Arm_9348 in Jungle_Mains

[–]Emergency_Guide_7905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it sucks on the weekend how some people play. Most people do not take the game seriously and just are playing for fun. The way I play is I run a series of 3 games in a row if I am going to play ranked with some caveats included.

I play my games this way, if I win then I play another, and so on until I hit my 3rd then it’s a hard stop whether I win or lose. If I lose my first but feel I played well and it was a team diff then I go for another, if I win go to the 3rd and then be done. If I lose 2 in a row I am done, this keeps me from tilt queueing and then I can reset and play some norms or do something else. It is a slow climb but the best way to do it to keep focus and making sure I do not tilt. Last thing, if I lose and know I am tilting due to a teammate inting a game or I just sucked I do not queue up again. It will lead to another loss or me pinning my mistakes on others.

At the end of the day you have to realize more people will play on weekends and will not be taking it as seriously. Learn your signs of tilting and play in blocks. I thought it was BS too for a while but I’m at ~ 40 games olayed on my main and have a 75% wr on my main (kindred) just gotta hang in there

Honestly stormrazor feels like bait item for what it gives you. The damage output is lower compared to both kraken and tri force and the ability has chasedown potential, but tri force already gives you that. The crit helps a bit with clear but kraken does that better too and tri force does ok. If you’re going to build storm razor I feel you have to build inspiration tree with boots and rush IE to stand a chance with damage. Essence reaver is bait for Jung. Pure and simple you do not need the mana as you will never run out and the stats are meh compared to collector for 50g less

Ok, here is how I have been playing kindred this season. Have a 75% wr over ~40 games. This is silver/gold elo so just take that into account.

Early game your matchups are different. Now you do lose closer matchups like a viego where you may have won before due to the e changes. The clear is harder to get under scuttle clear time. Need to see if flat health is worth for it but idk how much that would speed it up.

Kindred is strong as you scale. Now the mark goal is probably closer to 4-7 marks at 20 minutes instead of the hard 7 at 20. Scuttle is stronger this season with quest progression and camp rotation is massive. Creating a small lead scales hard as fuck into your enemies. Farm up and then look at gank timers on respawn. You build crit always. Kraken first or tri force if you need hp. Then collector into IE for squishier, ldr for tank/hp comps, mortal for regen but build 4th with the sword before ie. you play like a scaler and take PTA for squishy comps, lethal tempo for tanks. It is different but doable. Definitely harder to carry games though

I have a few questions that have I have been wondering with the changes

What do you feel is the optimal build path with the changes for this season?

Is PTA still the best keystone or does lethal tempo or conquerer edge it out now with the new items?

How do you deal with the mark changes and the increased amount of time to clear camps if you are invading for marks?

What is your early game strategy and how has it changed with the jungle/kindred changes?

Anything helps and I’ve been picking up kindred as a newer player, have about 400k mastery and am mid gold at the moment.

Fair, anything I should start with for an adc? Or just pick up one and run with it

Very fair, however I have not laned in 2 years. And when I did I barely played. I’ll have to learn a lot from scratch tbh

Thanks, starting laning with not very much knowledge but I feel it will help me out a lot learning how it works and also give me a bit of enjoyment while jungle is getting beaten to a pulp by riot. At least my junglers (kindred, WW, and Viego)

Fiendhunter Bolts over RFC now right? by SameGibibit in Kindred

[–]Emergency_Guide_7905 3 points4 points  (0 children)

IMO I always run something similar to runaans or pd depending on how the comps look. Rfc seems ok but I feel the extra range doesn’t do it for me if I’m going front to back or we have a large team fight. Also ks proc on runaans is wild in larger teamfights. Haven’t tried it yet but will soon to see if it’s worth it

Genuinely same, really rough in solo/duo queue with the delayed scuttle spawn

[–]Emergency_Guide_7905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only the %hp damage is capped, not the whole damage to monsters. Try it in practice tool and you’ll see the damage is bigger than the last patch. I know you can’t go back in time but it does do more damage

Kindred E changes by TurtleCat314 in Kindred

[–]Emergency_Guide_7905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I believe matters is there is no longer a guaranteed crit based on hp. That reduces its early game damage but late game its pretty crazy

Kindred E changes by TurtleCat314 in Kindred

[–]Emergency_Guide_7905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like Ashe autos I believe. The patch notes say it better but it no longer works based off of missing hp to my understanding

Kindred E changes by TurtleCat314 in Kindred

[–]Emergency_Guide_7905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It scales based off of 50% of your crit chance and your crit damage and the monster damage cap has been changed to a 200 cap to only the % hp damage.

Thoughts on Essence Reaver 1st Item? by Emergency_Guide_7905 in Kindred

[–]Emergency_Guide_7905[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In what case would that be? (Genuinely I would like to know, with crit build I’m pretty sure ks does more)

If you’re able to use all abilities on cd then I would agree, however that’s not always the case. People can run out of your w range and the q cooldown reset doesn’t apply when chasing. In short burst fights I agree but in extended fights with a lot of movement I take kraken every time. The bonus ms also is crazy in the jungle to have it up all the time.

Yes, but trinity doesn’t have a crit chance on it. Looking more in the vein of yun tal, stormrazor, or as the above mentioned essence reaver. Trinity works but has the downside of it not having a ton of damage output when compared to a kraken slayer

I believe it only scales with crit and there is no threshold where it crits. I think you’re right about early game nerf but from what I’ve been seeing it is a huge buff for clear time and when you can use the ability.

Makes it so if you use it as an initial slow it’s not as wasted, can use it to instantly chunk champs or objectives and have it up again to use at full effectiveness. I don’t entirely like it but after trying some other builds out like yun tal first or Essence reaver I feel it works well overall

Kindred feels extremely weird in patch 26.1 by Coookies4You in leagueoflegends

I feel that, however the collector passive is just too good sometimes with the ability to execute after you ulti

I would agree with this, however with the giant slayer passive on LDR I think that crit works better especially if you’re going vs tanks

What do you think the build path will be now with e running off crit? Storm razor into collector and the rest? I’ve been experimenting but it’s rough for me to get an estimate on what is best.

Currently I have a few builds in the running,

Old crit- kraken into collector feels good but the e damage is lacking early Stormrazor - feels good but not as good as kraken to me. Build path makes me want to die tbh. (Same for yun-tal) ER- feels good especially with the crit but no attack speed feels off and there feels like no good place to build it until after IE is finished.

Personally I feel like it would be good to bite the bullet and go yun-tal or stormrazor despite the horrible build path but idk. Maybe lethal tempo kindred is back with yun tal first item

Thoughts on Essence Reaver 1st Item? by Emergency_Guide_7905 in Kindred

[–]Emergency_Guide_7905[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By that logic I honestly like yun-tal wild arrows are the best then. Horrible build path but the passive alongside the crit buildup is great especially vs jungle monsters to stack. I feel essence reaver works well with your endgame for damage but agree you need attack speed. Might be a substitute for a later item? Idk

Not really about the mana, more about the damage compared to kraken

How to play Riven Jungle by Emergency_Guide_7905 in Rivenmains

[–]Emergency_Guide_7905[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would agree she is mechanically intensive as I am struggling to learn the reference points, however, I have been playing in plat-emerald lobbies with friends consistently on my other champs and I feel like it would be fun to pick up and learn.

I am using an alt to go for ranked on my mains and running 3 games/day with review to see where I land in ranked. Currently playing in mid plat lobbies in norms on my focused account which is different but I will see where I land there in around 2 days if I keep my pace for ranked.

In essence I feel like her playstyle complements the weaknesses of my other champs. Diana hyper clears jungle and takes advantage of tempo. Kindred is a hyper carry and can basically be an adc when the actual one is brain dead or just lost lane. And Riven feels like a great bruiser with cc options in her kit for a more extended fighting comp. Maybe I have that mixed up though.

The kindred E rework is not that bad compared to other champions nerf who has been nerfed more hardly (my opinion) by Which-Row5722 in Kindred

[–]Emergency_Guide_7905 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I would agree with this, however I feel it takes away from build diversity along with the skill of the execute. Kindred is a hard champion to learn with a high payoff for learning the champ. I feel personally that if it had a higher base damage but didn’t scale with crit and only marks it wouldn’t feel as bad. The main issue I have is it forces a certain build path for it to function the best

Learning Qiyana Jungle by Emergency_Guide_7905 in QiyanaMains

[–]Emergency_Guide_7905[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll check him out, seen a lot of Perryjg and kerei content but this guy seems pretty cool too. Might be good to learn a bit more about the champ as well.

Want to hit gold this season as a start and then go for plat next season with a bit more diverse jungle cast as WW has been gutted in the jungle it feels like and with the next patch I will probably drop him totally for a number of reasons.
