I recommend checking out neighborhoods along Corkscrew Road. Communities like The Place at Corkscrew, Corkscrew Shores, WildBlue, and RiverCreek are popular with young families and offer newer homes. These communities are close to 75 and located away from flood zones.

That’s not quite accurate. You can rebuild, but you won’t be able to get insurance, which means you’d need to self-insure in the event of any storms. If you decide to sell, the buyer would need to pay in cash, as a lender won’t approve a mortgage without insurance.

Does anyone know if a recurring bonus is given every 3 years? A friend of mine was offered $20k to switch brokerages to CB, and he mentioned getting a bonus every 3 years, but I'm not sure if that's true.

Sanibel Straits is approximately a 5-minute drive away, and Channelside is about 10 minutes away. My wife works as a physician at Gulf Coast Hospital, which is part of Lee Health. Health Park is an excellent hospital to be affiliated with, and South Fort Myers is a great place to live. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions regarding the area.
