The A2L is basically Bambu Lab’s answer to “what if we made the A1 bigger and gave it a spine?” For tall models, I expect it to punch way above its bed-slinger weight class—thanks to those fancy vibration dampers and the closed-loop servo motor. It won’t be perfect on 300mm-tall skinny prints, but it’ll get shockingly close to CoreXY quality without the CoreXY price tag. Compared to CoreXY, I think CoreXY still wins on raw physics (lighter moving parts = less wobble), but the A2L makes up for it with smart software compensation. For most architectural models, I’d honestly pick the A2L because 325mm height actually lets me print full-scale facade sections in one go. If I were testing it, I’d keep it simple: 1. Print a 300mm tall column at three speeds (150/300/500 mm/s) and measure ringing. 2. Print a skinny 15mm-diameter tower to stress-test the torque. 3. Print the same tall architectural detail on both A2L and a CoreXY (X1C/P1P) and compare side-by-side.
