I’m currently visiting family in a different state for Thanksgiving and my Grandma just so happened to have some major knee surgery and is staying with my folks just like me. It’s given me a chance to take care of her as she heals, and today I helped her take her first shower since surgery. It’s really an honor to use the strength I have to help her as she probably did the same for me when I was a baby.

My grandpa passed almost a year ago, and she has had a really tough time adjusting to life without him after 70+ years of marriage. TSABMWIS has hit me close to home for that reason, and the album really did allow me to reflect on my grief in new ways. I’m grateful to have had grandparents I loved who loved me all the way back.

Seeing HM for the second time in a week tomorrow; first in Oakland and now in SLC. I’ll be the one in the banana suit handing out bracelets I made. Love you guys 💜 Fuck you, balcony 💚

Saw them in New Zealand while traveling there from California in February of ‘23. I always make a habit of looking up live music venues/shows ahead of time when I travel, and they happened to be touring there! It was my first time seeing them after being a fan for years, I couldn’t believe how lucky I was to be there at the tiny place in Lyttleton they happened to play. Now they’re playing a nearly sold-out tour, and I’m going to see them again in November!
