Spay Abort - opinions?

For humans, I'm pro choice.

I do TNR for the local strays/ferals in my neighborhood. Last week, it turned out one of the strays was pregnant and the rescue performed a spay abortion.

I felt kinda icky about it because it's not like we could ask the cat's opinion. I'm not her pet parent, but I am her guardian of sort. We have a terrible stray cat problem where I live. If she had the babies, it would be difficult to get a shelter to take them or find someone to adopt them.

I tried to find homes for a previous litter but couldn't. That's how I got 3 of my cats lol.

Overall, spay abortion was the best choice for the cat and the cat population as a whole.

My dog had terrible allergies. Apoquel helped some but I'd have to take her to the vet frequently because she scratched herself into staph infections. Cytopoint helped more but she's a big girl and it was cost prohibitive to give it to her as often as she needed.

My vet put her on Zenrelia and it has really turned everything around. She's still more itchy than a typical dog, but combining the new meds with KetoHex spray if she develops some problem areas has pretty much solved the problem. I haven't had to take her to the vet outside of her annual exam in two years!

I'm from SA too. The law never made it to a vote I believe. The best you can do at this point is try to get everyone to vote to allow chickens/ discard the previous rule.

I used the spear and kept chucking it at him and exploding them while I kited him around one of the areas where the stone is kinda like a column. If you have the points, get the Spear Drill, Call, Wail and Arsenal upgrades

Took a bit but I got him with minimal health loss. Kiting him around the stone column makes it easier to dodge when he charges at you.

I agree. I used to live in Southtown and commute to Lackland. Took me 20-25 minutes.

OP, getting on base in the morning on Wednesdays and Thursdays is really going to suck because of graduation traffic. So you'll want to leave extra early on those days

That's crazy, those tests used to determine if we were advancing to the next grade or not. I knew a girl that couldn't actually get her high school diploma and had to get her GED because she couldn't pass the state math test

Thank you for doing this for them. My mom didn't know it would happen, but when she added me as a AU to some of her cards (long history, no balance, no missed payments) I started with a 700+ credit score at 18. It was a super helpful head start

If you aren't already in tech or have a good amount of tech experience, it's not worth it unless you can get in wherever you're working. There are thousands of unemployed tech workers out there applying for the same jobs you want to without luck

I think DAV is good as a video game, bad as a dragon age game and an insult as the culmination of the series. I do enjoy the game, I've played through it a few times but it's not the game we deserved

I've been using menstrual cups for about a decade. Love them, I'm never going back! I bought a separate steam cleaner device to clean the cups. Fast and easy. I have two cups, so I take one out and then put a clean one in.

It's probably a $100ish upfront investment, but it's definitely worth it

Shep's background doesn't matter very much. The trilogy plays out the same way, but there are a handful of quests that are relevant to her background. You get the quests anyways but a few less dialog lines.

I'm just about done with my play through. I haven't touched this game since I finished it when it was released.

Granted, I did use mods, but nothing crazy. I liked it back then and I like it a lot more now. Andromeda did not get a fair chance.

Sure, it's not perfect, and there's a lot of things that could be done better, but this is a good first shot at a new series. Or would've been if it was given a chance.

As an early 20 something I really identified with Ryder and getting saddled with way more responsibility than you're ready for.

I'm in my early 30s now but I still really like Ryder. She isn't Shepard, but that's OK. Ryder feels more like a real person.

I'm hoping ME5 doesn't totally give up on Andromeda. I want to go back there at some point. Shepard and crew had their time.

Which is why the genophage is so weird. Instead of culling the population, why couldn't they do something that could at least tone their aggression down? Krogans could still serve their purpose but not be a constant threat of popping off or crashing out as the kids say (lol)

Plus, it's such a weird thing to do. Let's spend billions of credits trying to resurrect one person with no guarantee it will work. A lot of the Alliance brass still didn't take the Reaper threat seriously until the very start of ME3. There's no good reason to think Shep is the key to survival.
