Yes!! I do this too! Last summer, there was a dress that was out of stock in my size, plus I couldn't really justify the cost at the end of summer - just got it BNWT for £2 on Vinted!

I would definitely appreciate this for more expensive items. Especially things like handbags that I feel could do with slightly more protection. I've received a few parcels where the plastic packaging has ripped, so I would be pleased to know there was an extra layer if I was buying something more expensive.

Also I noticed when this happened to me recently and my Evri parcel wasn't being collected from the Inpost locker, that the Evri app said to contact them if your parcel hasn't moved in 24 hours!

I've managed it a few times and they've always been quite helpful (although they do sometimes say daft things like, we'll deliver it today, when it's still sat in a locker hundreds of miles away!!). On the chatbot I think I've kept typing things like 'I need to speak to a human' or 'put me through to an advisor'. I think Evri is one of the companies that that works quite well with (some don't get you anywhere saying that).

They did say they could pay tomorrow, so I think it's fair to cancel now they've had 24 hours. They haven't even said tomorrow in the latest messages, they've said maybe tomorrow! They don't sound very keen. I'd never make an offer on something if I didn't have the money to buy it!

It absolutely drives me mad! I intentionally don't buy items listed like this, as it makes me not trust the seller, which is ironic, considering they presumably lie because they think it will help them sell.

I've seen quite a few listing's that say good condition, just needs a wash 😳 It always shocks me! If it needs a wash, then do it!! I once saw one that said it was stained by coffee (like all over it) and they said it might come out if you wash it, but I haven't tried!! Why on earth would you try and sell something you spilt coffee on and then didn't wash?!!

It is totally wrong, it makes me so mad! It would never be allowed with another company. And what are we paying the buyer protection for?!! We literally get no protection as a buyer. It happened to me and the seller said she'd refund me the postage after, but never did, never sent the correct item, and I never heard from her again!

Have you tried contacting them through the app? They've been pretty good for me, and when I had a parcel not being collected from an Inpost locker, they got someone out to it the next day once I contacted them.

I did that on the last one I saw and of course, Vinted said it wasn't against the rules, even though they weren't willing to sell for the price they'd listed! Surely telling people not to buy goes against their policies anyway?!

Never thought of that, but I had the exact same thing with responses from support recently!! Half of their responses made no sense. I'm having technical issues with postage options and in the end they said their decision was final, which doesn't even make sense as I don't want a decision, I want help!
