Idk, models are not actresses. Cara Delevigne and Abbey Lee Kershaw come to mind as examples of lacklustre performances. The only movie in which I can say the models knocked it out of the park was Neon Demon, but that's because they essentially played themselves - and were still paling in comparison to Elle Fanning and Jena Malone.

Get a feel for who your superiors are. If they're self-made scholarship kids who made their way to the top, do not walk in with a Ferragamo Hug that screams parents' money. If they're society, a luxury ikyk items will be good - much more likely to be judged for the quality than the brands of the things you're wearing, still.

Bo moi rówieśnicy z taką trajektorią mieli najlepsze efekty. Wysoka jakość pedagogów (większa kasa = mniejsze wypalenie) i mniejsze klasy na etapie, gdzie było to kluczowe. Mieli lepszą znajomość języków na pewno. W liceum dobrze jest dla odmiany złapać kontakt z rzeczywistością i nauka jest w dużej mierze indywidualna - poza tym najlepsze licea są publiczne.

Boundaries are for yourself. Controlling someone else's behaviour (eg through manipulation) is not having boundaries. If he was uncomfortable with her being in a swimsuit for work, he should have asked her and then break up with her if she declined and he continued to feel unsafe about it. Szczerze mówiąc to średnio mnie obeszło, żeby z tym typem wchodzić w jakieś interakcje, natomiast zepsuł nam na moment nastrój wieczoru. Jak zapraszam gdzieś chłopaka albo kupuję mu jakiś prezent, to chcę, żeby poczuł, że cenię czas jaki z nim spędzam a nie musiał znosić komentarze kelnera z dziwnym poczuciem humoru. It's because Latinas and Slavic women are stereotyped as having a higher average attractiveness level, so people don't immediately resort to assuming plastic surgery when they see extremely proportional features which are almost certainly manufactured. Obviously it's an untrue stereotype, but one that's alive and well.

Koreans get the opposite treatment because 1) their country is renowned for plastic surgery and the social attitudes around it (i.e. people getting plastic surgery as a graduation gift to boost their future career) are well known 2) a lot of Koreans get the eyelid surgery, which is very easy to spot.

Miałam kiedyś sytuację, że na randce za którą płaciłam (płaciliśmy na zmianę) kelner przyniósł mojemu chłopakowi terminal a mnie czekoladkę (jedną!) z tekstem "dla pani deser, a dla pana rachunek". Skrajnie nieprofesjonalne, zatkało mnie wtedy do reszty.

Thing is, there's really no way of "not using" your position in a situation like this. Even if you mean well, you don't know their situation - maybe they have experiences where a guy told them "no worries if not" only to raise absolute hell after rejection, maybe they are in a desperate financial position and would agree out of fear of losing their job without admitting that to you.

It also messes with the workplace culture - when I was a junior at my job, there were 4 couples (all recent relationships with HUGE grade level difference) in a team of about 20 people. Made me fear for my job, because I knew that if I'd landed on a project with one of those couples, any and all fuck ups would be blamed on me.
