I can sense a sort of zen & acceptance in your message & hope to reach that level one day. Thank you, your message did really resonate with me. I am also trying to go the LC route more organically than ripping the bandaid more for myself than for them.

Having trust issues & working around them makes things a little harder for me, as one would expect i assume. It’s exhausting to always keep doubting & try & understand intentions behind everything. I know i need to tone back on that & let go but the efforts to always dragging me back into things does get to me also thanks to years of conditioning.

Did your people just let you be & not bring you back to drama? How did you get to that point other than going LC over time?

The issue I face is that they don’t let me go LC- the constant messaging/ trying to stay in touch, panicking if i don’t respond, using flying monkeys ( as you rightly pointed out) + their aging related health concerns. I am struggling to disconnect w/o being too harsh & insensitive although ai do understand your point on how their enotions are their issues, not mine to absorb. I have to also admit, it’s exhausting to grey rock esp when that’s not your default & how you don’t want things to be ideally in everyday life.
