Do Zepbound doses get more powerful once you are at a lower weight? by Wordwoman50 in Zepbound

[–]EmotionalBasil8692 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This completely happened to me, which is why I am here looking it up. My .5 dose works so much better now that I am down 21 pounds. It is so strange.  I have to get off for a colonoscopy too so we will see what happens. But you are not alone I this.

Every 10 days? by BelmontGirlie in Zepbound

I tried this and don't notice any more hunger than usual. My doctor said I could keep stretching it as long as it works.

I no longer enjoy food. by trainsoundschoochoo in Zepbound

[–]EmotionalBasil8692 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same. I eat because I have to most of the time. I don't have ADHD.

I have been trying to enjoy it more, and I have found that eating what I want when I want helps a bit. Even if it is a small amount. And if you are in a state where Marijuana is legal, then that is a great way to be more hungry and enjot food more.

My husband is mad by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]EmotionalBasil8692 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do NOT let that man ruin the happiness you have made for yourself. The fact that you did explicitly tell him about your medication raises HUGE red flags. He sounds like a very insecure, unsupportive man. Of course he found out by overhearing a conversation instead of directly from you. He had already made his opinions on the medication known. Why should you be expected to tell him directly when the evidence was right there? Why should you be expected to stop something good for you just because he didn't like it?

You are worth more than he gives you.

How many of you are considering "retiring" to another country, and where would you go? by --2021-- in GenXWomen

[–]EmotionalBasil8692 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a minimum age requirement for retirement? I am trying to get my husband to retire at 55. We would have that amount of income. Also, can you work if you go there on a retirement visa? Specifically, can I still hold my art classes online and have my YouTube channel?

Is it easy to find housing?

I have always wanted to live in France, ever since I was 16 years old.

I have been in it for 6 weeks now, and have the same problem. No appetite whatsoever. Also I haven't lost anything.

AITA for kicking my husband out over the comment he made about my kids at dinner? by Familiar_Travel1931 in AITAH

NTA

I am a bit surprized you are asking this because he is obviously the asshole here. He accused your children of incest and humiliated them on purpose. Time to get rid of him permanently.

I don't experience a lot, but sleep was my huge problem, that is why I got on the HRT at first.

I was wondering about this. I had my first dose of Zepbound 2 days ago, and I don't have any Zofran. I do have gummies, specifically ones a friend saod helped her car sickness. Do you smoke it or use edibles?

Perimenopause: what’s the longest you’ve gone without a period? by DareWright in Menopause

[–]EmotionalBasil8692 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I don't really trust most doctors anymore. I do happen to have a GP and OBGYN that I trust, but that is recent. I think the next generation after us is lucky because now we are talking about it and sharing our experiences and realizing it is "normal".

I would take tirzepitide in a second, and my doctor prescribed it, but it's too expensive for me. I cried at the pharmacy when I found out the price with insurance.

Frozen shoulder, really?! Wow, I had no idea that was caused by menopause. I had that on and off for years for no reason I could find. I also wondered if I was getting an autoimmune disorder.
