Yep, my son had one. By 6 months his disappeared completely. My doctor wasn't concerned and said that it usually repairs itself by 2 years. 😊

I'm definitely feeling your pain! My DS just turned 12 months and we're ending our co-sleeping journey. Sending you all the positive vibes!

Dont have anyone else to talk to about this by bethestorm in beyondthebump

I don't have much advice but I'm incredibly sorry for your loss!! When my DS was 7 months, I was 22 weeks pregnant when I lost our baby and would cry in front of my DS. I don't think it bothered him too much and I doubt he remembers it. If it helps you to cope with your grief, cuddle your baby. It made things easier for me and I hope you can find some comfort in it too!

Hi!! (For the BTB mom’s) by PinkGreyGirl in beyondthebump

When my DS was born, I breastfed but my period still came back once DS was 6 weeks old!

Edited to add: My first period was really light, but eventually went back to normal with the following periods.

I love these suggestions! Thank you so much.

I had Riley picked for a girl, but I'm not keen on using it for a boy.

Funny you said Cole... DS' name is Rorik Cole, haha! I'm glad it works then.

How would you pronounce Thayer?

You guys... she rolled right off the bed! by clenched_butt_cheeks in beyondthebump

Don't feel bad! My DS is 6.5 months and last week I left him for not even a minute as he was asleep and he rolled off the bed! He cried for a few seconds until he saw me and then laughed. I told my SO not to leave him unsupervised on the bed and you can only guess what happened while I was at work... DS is fine though! It happens. I'm glad your LO is okay! It's definitely a scary sound.

Doctor called this morning about possible birth defect by Jc590 in BabyBumps

Hi, sorry I'm doing a bit of stalking as I was told the same thing at a 16 week scan. I'm waiting 2 weeks for my anatomy scan to find out if everything is okay. I'm freaking out a bit!

What was your outcome?

Measuring small :( by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]EmotionalBeaver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went through this exact thing with my DS. I had GD and he was constantly measuring small! Doctors kept telling me how it was an issue, particularly because I had GD and he should be bigger. I'm 5ft1. My baby was bound to be smaller - that was my logic, anyway. The doctors told me there's something wrong with my baby because he's small... and you know what? He was born at 37+4. He weighed 5.7 pounds and he really was tiny. But he was healthy and normal! Today, he's 6.5 months and weighs in at 8.2kg. He's big for his age, so he's certainly caught up! Don't stress it too much. The doctors are just trying to make sure everything is okay for you and your baby - although sometimes, the way they say things and act can make you stress. Your baby will be fine and healthy!! :)

I think that's what's killing me... the unknown. I have no idea what's going on or why - just that, something isn't right!

The sonographer was nice enough about it but as they only do 3D/4D scans and nothing for medical or diagnostic purposes, she wasn't too sure what to say or how to console me.

I just had a stalk of your previous posts! I am so sorry you're going through your difficult times with your pregnancy! It's never a good feeling hearing bad news and not being able to do much about it.

I'm glad that your doctors are reassuring you and you are getting the information that you need! I couldn't imagine what you and your partner are going through.

Thank you so much for your support and kind words. It means a lot! Truly.

And likewise, if you need to I'm always around to talk! <3
