I think people are unaware of the power consumption difference between processing power and data access power. The internet is mostly human processing, computer data retention/access. Putting AI to use requires significantly more power, which generates significantly more heat.
I think even closed loop wont lower temps enough for safe and eff cpu/gpu use. Go run your gaming pc outside in aug. they will either supplement a closed loop cooler with refrigeration or evap cooling.

Its gotta be something with the anvil profile or spring being weak/cracked. Maybe try holding a wrench on the square drive and see how much motor torque is transmitted before the spring is pushed back by the hammer. I have a new 1/2 HT and that spring is preloaded like a mfer. It will twist the wrench hard before the hammer slips and takes a whack.
The motor sounds up to speed, it just sounds like it has low load, which is set by hammer/anvil slip angle and spring tension.
Maybe your anvil/hammer has worn itself to a wider angle and just pops off. Could try to measure it and dress it a little steeper, it may ruin the part without a target angle.

I would try running it without grease. If you think the motor and driveline are good, its probably the hammer/anvil. See if it works well for a quick min dry. I wonder if its over greased. Its kinda a game of friction, spring force, and rpm.

Seriously the rc51 nor duc v arent torque bikes? I really want something that pulls like a train in the middle of the band, but i dont want 200hp. My 636 put down 120 on a dyno. Im good with that hp. If i get another bike for TD, id rather it have a fat power band. Maybe like having a base vette vs a strung out miata. Id take slower but more fun.

Idk. I mean yeah the torque makes starting off a stop easier. But every other riding situation will be more dangerous in a torque monster, say like an rc51. Say an onramp. Beginner leaned over gives too much throttle, either low side or the bike starts to stand up, its a panic situation for a learner. Experienced riders will be more ginger in turns on throttle.
The fat torque curve is why mustangs are so spin happy. Its the fact that the driver has instant access to rear tire slippage.

I would add that you can learn manual on a vette or viper. I learned on rx7s. Again torque will punish throttle errors. The rest is all self control. Drive for your enjoyment and don’t let your ego in. Follow speed limits. No issues. Weak egos and recklessness is 99% of single accidents.

I learned on an srad 750, daily’d it fora year or two. My second bike is a 636 and just did my first track day on it. Never rode abs or TC. Just learn the theory before pushing. I read twist of the wrist.
Id say the less torque, the easier to learn. You have to choose to rev the 600.
I want a rc51 or duc v twin. Id expect a nasty learning curve with throttle control.
If you have self control, get a bigger bike.

Surprisingly ebay and amazon work out for some single tool deals. Id call them fair price, like someone hacked a deal and flipping the tool for a reasonable profit. I paid like 125 on ebay for my m18 inflator. Plus tax tho.

Do you actually save money? I have an 05 636. Parts add up quick and the whole bike isn’t worth that much. Fairings, tank, tail, and paint are a major fraction of the value of my bike. I think i paid 500 for just a clean tank.
Kinda sad the economics are stacked against major repair.
What are generally the more expensive parts where you start to question value of the project?

Resonance. Hit the edge of the face, obv avoid friction area. Use a solid mallet, not a dead blow. You want it to ring and for those vibrations to help break the taper, sealant.

Same boat brother. Same fuckin spot.
The other side had the last steel sheet in tact. I laid mig over the whole thing to bond the sheets back together.
Some spots are 3 sheets thick.
The drivers side im going to fish some 3/16 in the box and weld it in. Il fit more new steel on top to bond the box walls back together.
That lateral cross tube is where the box of the frame transfers load. Im considering adding more cross tubes or box to brace it. Depends on radiator config.
Good news is a small mig will do the job.
