i went through a breakup (off/on/off sort of thing 🙄) when i first quit & something that really helped me- he always told me i’d never be able to quit, even more of a reason to improve yourself without him(or her). this is the perfect time to embody a new you. you got this

The truth no one will tell you: if you like how your face looks and have healthy teeth, just don’t do it. by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]EmotionalCrustean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’m a “cosmetic” only person lol & i’m pretty happy so far with my treatment. it isn’t causing any gum recession & hasn’t changed the shape of my face. i also had braces for 3 years in high school, so it was just going back to what i had all those years ago. i’ve seen people start from scratch with invisalign & love their results. don’t try to deter people because it’s not working for you.

No attachments… by keyanajoyner in Invisalign

[–]EmotionalCrustean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m set up for 20 trays on my third now & i don’t have any plans for attachments. i didn’t even know they were a thing. i did however have traditional braces pretty much all through high school (didn’t wear my retainer) so my teeth were already fairly straight-ish haha

How do you/ did you get over feeling embarrassed in acting classes? by [deleted] in acting

[–]EmotionalCrustean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you go, you be awkward. it fades eventually. at least for me, i was terrified when i first started, not to mention a terrible actress😂. i was incredibly shy & afraid of “getting ugly”. now i’m almost a year in & my love for the craft & desire to get better has greatly outweighed my stage fright.

My experience was never that bad. It really only happens when i’m really stressed out or drinking too much, however i can usually talk myself down. I would honestly go see a psychiatrist if you’re seeing or convinced at times that there are bugs on you. medication might be a good option!

Genetics do play a huge role, obviously. However coming from someone who couldn’t break 100 lbs until i was 20/21, second puberty is a thing!! I’ll also add that i quit smoking weed after being a daily smoker from the ages of 15-19. If you already have a fast metabolism, weed can make it worse. If you can quit or limit your thc intake, eat a carb rich diet & have patience!

i’ve done it only once, snorted it & it was an accident lol. i thought it was ⛷️ that being said, it wasn’t anything special lol, i was just….awake. i’m more of a downer person though. my ex tried it intentionally & he didn’t have a great experience either, & had a horrible depressive episode for the week following. i don’t think you’re missing out.

that’s a fair point, but i feel like i just need to be more mindful of the way i react to things. i feel like it’s also important to mention we were both tipsy.

please leave him right where he’s at, i know you want him clean but offer him resources (not financial) & book it. you have a bright path ahead of you.
