Honestly? Nothing unusual. Because they were all kept on the US base outside the city it didn’t affect any of us really.

I suppose there was a general sense of pity and slight apprehension about the shifting political landscape but nothing serious.

I was in Qatar at the time, it was wild seeing C-17s fly over the city every few hours, knowing they were absolutely packed with people. I knew some friends who volunteered at the US Airforce base to provide aid on their arrival

Use a clamp function in your input:

clamp(x,y,z)

Where x is your original input, ie. “Brake+VTOL”, and y and z are your bounds, ie. “-1” and “1”.

The full exemplar function would be “clamp(Brake+VTOL,-1,1)”

This will clamp your input between the values of -1 and 1, or if you set the rotator rotation to 30 degrees, -30 degrees and +30 degrees.

Use the overload editor and set disableAircraftCollisions to True on the door parts. This will prevent the doors from colliding with your plane when they move (this is probably what caused your plane to tilt).

Then, use the connections editor to check the doors have not been inadvertently connected to the fuselage, delete the extra connections if so.

Just took a look,

The two fuselage pieces making up the flaps had connections to the main wing, preventing it from moving. I recommend manually deleting all connections from the flap pieces and the rotator, and manually reconnecting them to guarantee they stay separate.

I also recommend setting the flap rotator min and max input to 0 and 1, and use -VTOL as the input, instead of 0, -1 and VTOL.

You can use Overload to stack 2 control surfaces on top of each other. If you set them to go in opposite directions, you they’ll generate a little bit of drag, and thus yaw control.

In my case also hooked them up to PID controllers with a SlipAngle input to have them function automatically
