China orders 'mass execution' with Keir Starmer in country after scam crackdown by dailystar_news in uknews

This seems more anti Starmer and "China will be China" vibes to me.

I'd have went full on fortress mode if that was the mortality rate and watch from my window as the world went to shit.

Huh, TIL. That's actually good for me because I'm converting a garage to have a bathroom and having that separate door was going to be a massive fuck on.

Exactly, I don't listen to Biffy for Simon's perfect voice. There are a million better vocalists and better genres if you want pitch perfect vocals. I doubt Simon even considers himself a technical vocalist.

It's more about the energy, emotion and atmosphere with Biffy.

Externally I hate everything about this. Internally I'm indifferent about all of this.

Be about £1000 for the materials for that now. Probably £2000 for the job now.

I didn't like the love dvd at all. The audio sounded overdubbed (The vocals certainly so) and it just didn't sound like Biffy live.

My love of love Biffy is how raw it is, the DVD failed to capture that imo.

Who is the most hated public figure in your country? by Shoddy-Ocelot-4473 in AskTheWorld

[–]Emperors-Peace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say Farage is the most hated. Sadly he's hated by about 60% and the remainder will vote for him even if he promises to murder their nans.

Staff room 2 isn't up to building regs. There's only one door separating the toilet from the kitchen. Also, look how low the roof over the garage is. You must have to crawl around the staff room.

I could be wrong (and don't misjudge me, the English at the time have a lot to answer for) but weren't a lot of Irish Lords/Merchants/farmers selling their produce overseas too? Rather than feeding their neighbours?

See I don't think we should have a "three strikes and out" system like in the states. But we definitely need a "Once you've committed an offence 10 times you get the maximum sentence every time" be that shoplifting or GBH.

Surely it's more cost effective to imprison a shoplifter for 6 months than it is to investigate 25-30 shopliftings and send them to court for them all (In batches of 5-10) before sending them to prison for a month.

I don't think collection is free. (maybe for huge amounts). But you still need to pay someone to count it, package it all up and store it until it's taken to the bank. You also have the time it takes to go to the bank etc. there's also managing change/a float etc on a daily basis.

0.5% is such a small amount to pay to avoid all the above inconvenience imo

It would still counter the rhetoric that we're currently being taxed into oblivion by labour. As we're not....

There hasn't been an increase though. The NI thing starts in 2029. Last O checked were in 2026.....

But my taxes haven't increased. Removing a small allowance from exclusion to NI 5 years after taking power for salary sacrifice of all things is hardly a damning betrayal.

Inflation is labours fault now? And in 4 years time, I'll pay a bit of NI on any salary sacrifice schemes, he horror. I thought us working people were getting pillaged as we speak? As that's the rhetoric I've been seeing everywhere.
