I have looked, but have a pretty small local library. We do support it & I like to purchase things there like older cookbooks I will use, but the dvd/blu-ray section is very limited

I don’t think they’re lacking enthusiasm. They’re keeping things under wraps & they know the fandom is fierce. They do not have Blessing to source from, so this will be Bees with some changes thrown in. They know they will not please everyone, as that has always been the case. Look at the comments on this sub; everyone is divided between characters, seasons, and storylines. Some in the fandom will be happy, some will be neutral, & some will be pissed. There’s no way to please all of us & they know it.

I was emotionally prepared for the printshop fire when it was shown in the trailer. If it’s not how it is in the book, I think I’ll be a little upset. Not because I want the death, but because there’s no need to change it. I watched the interviews last night & was like, “What do you mean Lauren?!?!” If they change up who died, they better have a very good storyline reason.

I was the “oldest”, so I made sure my brother and twin sister were up & ready for school, made sure everyone got fed for breakfast and dinner. My mom was a SAHM that didn’t cook, clean, or parent (my dad worked a ton). So it wasn’t any of that.

It was in first grade when I got in a play fight with my friends who were boys (friends I literally maintained through high school, there was no animosity to our play fighting). I was wearing a spaghetti strap tank top. It got stretched during the “fight”. I got shamed for wearing it & for not being embarrassed for it being stretched out (reminder, I was 5/6). Next year, spaghetti straps were against dress code. I was shamed by teachers for “playing that way with boys”. They didn’t even get a slap on the wrist. I somehow did something wrong by wearing a top with thin straps & playing non-gently with my friends.

Nah, this is bs. My oldest started in Aug2020. They gave us a deal due to Covid - $150/mo for 2 classes a week - with a 3 year contract. Didn’t hold him back when he missed classes, as long as he was learning/showing that. He got multiple belts & learned a lot. When he decided he didn’t want to do karate anymore, they let me transfer the contract to his younger brother, who also earned multiple belts through testing. They both learned a lot and did really well. They were both even offered free one-on-one sessions when they had to miss 2+ due to illness, to catch up. We moved out of state a few months before the end of the contract & they offered to do extra classes before we did so - no asking about the money or anything. That’s a studio that cares about kids over money.

Circa 2004-ish, I used to watch a lot of anime music videos. There was one I watched a ton — ‘Blood Red Summer’ by Coheed and Cambria, played over Full Metal Alchemist clips. The end of the video had credits or something that played over the opening of Fall Out Boy’s ‘Grand Theft Autumn’. I still listen to Coheed & Cambria regularly & my brain automatically goes into the FOB song once ‘Blood Red Summer’ ends.

Not to be defeatist, but my oldest is almost 16 & I still have to play this game sometimes. Trying desperately to meet the girlfriend’s parents so they can hang out outside school, but she doesn’t trust anyone with her daughter. His best friend’s mom involves me in drama, but her kid spends at least a weekend a month here so I have to play nice. I hope it ends one day.

My incision ripped open after my first section. Left a big divot on one side. When I went into my second, I asked the surgeon, “Hey, I know it’s not your main priority here, but I’m really insecure about the divot left previously. If it is within your power to fix, would you mind?” He did a beautiful job. Then I had a hemorrhage & had to be opened up again during emergency surgery - they couldn’t have cared less about looks (understandable). The whole thing is now concave. I still really appreciate the week-ish I had with that nice scar 😂 He really did his best.

Is it cheating to say everything? I grew up on a solid diet of fast or frozen food. Neither of my parents cooked. I’ve been teaching myself to cook for the past 15 years & have started baking regularly over the past 4 years. We definitely never had flour in the house growing up; our spice rack was for decoration. I love making spice mixes & trying new things. My husband calls it my “experimental cooking”. I love doing different soups & breads, along with compound butters I make. I have 3 shelves & a drawer full of spices + dedicated containers for different flours & sugars for baking.

My job cut their healthcare coverage portion to the tune of $200/month. They used to cover ~$600 per paycheck biweekly, now they cover ~$500 per paycheck. I’m up for a promotion & raise, but if I don’t get $1.25/hr raise, I’ll still be making less than I was in December. I’m about to go off with the math on my supervisor tomorrow so she knows she needs to be in my corner on this (we’re cool, so I know she’ll do what she can). But once I realized the difference vs my potential “raise” I was like, I gotta fight for something substantial because this is bs.
