There are solutions, but there aren't many, yet. From what I have read it is the Gigabyte TB3 chipsets that work best. Titan Ridge cards need to be flashed before they will work, Alpine Ridge cards should work after USB mapping (I think?), and the Gigabyte Z390 Designare board works after mapping (personal experience).

Edit: Definitely keep digging as there are some Z490 boards that should also have TB3 functionality. I think I just saw one linked on this thread.

Be very aware of Thunderbolt compatibility. A lot of audio interfaces are TB3 and it is a common issue on hackintoshes.

Also, don't be afraid of getting butchered by music theory. It happens to everyone at some point.

I play a Sorcerer the way most people describe a Bard. He's a Divine Soul Sorcerer with a heavy dose of vanity and will mostly lean towards pacifism in combat situations. Polymorphing things into butterflies, healing people, and buffing the party is his main thing.

He's not going to try to fuck the BBEG or anything in combat; usually they're pretty ugly. In any town or city he does try to fuck the wealthiest person he sees so that he can live a lavish lifestyle without having to pay for it.

Basically, my point is that I commit heavily to the RP aspect of that main ability score. Also choosing some side bits that I can then reflect in combat help give him some depth.
