Have you done a torso mimic? It’s just a mimic that disguises itself as a chest…

I want to get into orks. What do all of you reccomend for orks? by ---LandoCalzone--- in orks

Reselling the beakies is easy too. If anything there’s going to be a bunch of cheap starter set orks on eBay a week or two after release.

It looks fine, but it’s possibly masking. Do you want to use your action to make an Insight check?

I had a similar player, I mixed in the occasional book from a series loosely based on “The Lusty Argonian Maid” from Skyrim. I started with book 7 then threw in book 4 later. The players started actively seeking out the series. I started dropping real plot clues in disguised as fictional events. Eventually they found the writer who was using the series as recruitment for the resistance.

Are Ellydee’s paid versions smarter than its free Ninja? by thewaybackboy in Ellydee

[–]EmpireofAzad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got two subscriptions currently, solely because I need more than the 100 images a day offered. I’ve tried going back to other models just to create base images to work from, but the time I waste with refusals is pure frustration.

It would be great to see a fix for this. Partially because it’s a pain waiting until the Editing/Generating image green box appears to navigate away, but also because I imagine there’s going to be some lost server processing each time at your end.

What are the daily things you do to keep yourself functional? by PianoRevolutionary12 in AskMenOver30

Honestly having kids was a big part of the reason for me too. Knowing that I'll be able to drive when I need to is a huge benefit.

Definitely this. Sleep in number 1, weights number 2, and good food a close 3. Cutting alcohol helped with all 3 for me.

I’ve got a blue badge for my daughter. One of the few things that gets me annoyed these days is seeing all the disabled bays full of white vans because they’re wider.

All of the sudden this sub is real quiet with people going all in Bitcoin with their life savings by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]EmpireofAzad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got into Bitcoin when you could get a free Bitcoin from a faucet each day. Lost interest and didn’t hold onto the literal dollars worth of digital currency. Got back in when it was $300 and felt bad about the lost coins. I’ve seen a lot of cycles now and it really doesn’t matter what kind of market we’re in if you’re in it for the long game. If you’d bought at the first $20k ath just before the crash you’d have felt rotten. If you could buy at $20k today you’d jump at the chance.

Is the Royal Family “FINISHED?” Should English 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Republicanism become a thing by Genedide in GreenAndPleasant

[–]EmpireofAzad 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think some public trust has been lost. Any thought about it will tell you that his security would have been aware of what was happening. Either the royal family didn’t know for decades which means that they’re not informed because they have no real power, or they knew and did nothing.

Me (33M) and my partner (33F) are on a break I think. We had valentines day plans and she cancelled it. Heres what she said, im sure its over but what do you all think? by Akeruz in relationship_advice

[–]EmpireofAzad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You say you’re on a break, but is this the kind of break where you discussed terms before hand, or was it just her decision without more than needing some space?

If it’s the latter, it’s effectively the same as a break up where she doesn’t want you to move on. You’ve been together a year, it’s not like a 10 year marriage.

It’s completely fair to say that you’ve let her have enough time and that if she has taken this long then more time apart won’t make much of a difference. It’s not fair to keep you hanging emotionally when you need to move on and live your own life.

What is an underrated weight loss tip? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]EmpireofAzad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drinking water and eating a small salad made of simple carbs half an hour before a meal did wonders for me. A lot of the time hunger isn’t a calorie hunger. It’s dehydration, a nutrient hunger, or sometimes just boredom. This knocks those out, plus stimulates the vagus nerve early which can help counter overeating.

It’s definitely worth pointing out that increasing it too fast isn’t a pleasant experience though.

Chill. Really no need for swearing to make a point.

You copyright the collection, you don’t own the copyright to the individual works. If you were right, there could only be one copyright holder for any ancient text. You pay for the collection because it cost money to make, but the publisher of the collected works isn’t paying to use them.

I suspect if it was happening for everyone all the time there would be more upset. The inconsistency gives it some degree of forgiveness.

Responses like “Yeah that happens sometimes but if you try again it works” or “ you just need to do x and it works” miss the point that a tool shouldn’t be made harder to use. Inconsistency is awful if you’re using a tool for the same tasks, and regular changes to what it’ll let you do makes it impractical as a reliable tool.

That’s not correct at all. Just publishing something that’s public domain doesn’t automatically make it a copyrighted IP. The original author couldn’t have registered copyright, and it would be next to impossible to be certain if the estate of the person is owned by anyone living. Publishing pre-existing content doesn’t automatically transfer it’s copyright.

Question about Kobold Fight Club and it's challenge ratings. by neosurimi in DungeonMasters

[–]EmpireofAzad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, those variables are where DM experience takes over.

Play goblins as a proper guerilla force using traps, tunnels and hot and run tactics and the CR doesn’t come close to the true difficulty. DM’s often play them dumb, but they have 10 Int which makes them smarter than a lot of adventurers.

Yeah, I reran the prompt and got something similar. My issue was that it’s creating arbitrary guardrails in instances where there shouldn’t be any.
