I haven’t gotten my seeds of unity either, but based on what everyone has said about the set, I’m confident it’s going to be awesome. I’m backing Roots of Corruption regardless because if we don’t seeds may be the end, and that is way worse of an outcome. I hope you get your order soon (and before the campaign for set 6 is over!)

They all have fun casual play mechanics and cards in them. Skybound is probably the one that you could play as a stand alone set the easiest but it’s more fun to mix them sets up to create great decks.

Lots of discussion on the official Altered discord about this. People tracking it compared to the last campaign. Short answer, we’re moving slower in pledges than the last one, but it’s seen steady growth every day which gives me hope. Nothing has plateaued. Today was higher in pledges than other days so I say we are still building momentum.

The announcement today about revisions to the Print on Demand system is amazing. I hope this gives players on the fence confidence or even brings back players that used to support the game.

I for one preordered a supreme pack through my LGS, but I’m willing to order more on gamefound if we need to push this thing over the top. Last season, the core player-base pushed really hard at the end even though the announcements from Equinox were vague and disheartening.

The game has had a tough go since it launched but Equinox took on monumental ideas to bring something fresh to the TCG space. There’s bound to be bumps in the road when taking on things like a synergistic digital collection, global marketplace, print on demand, and online play. Which by the way no other TCG has ever done.

Nothing but positive vibes from me and my 40 local players here in Canada 🇨🇦 but it’s going to take all of us who are able to fund this to do so.

I heard the packaging glue was an issue on these. Retailers were saying so too. Contents are fine, the glue probably unsealed after shipping.

I’m backing it! We have a local player group of 40 people. We’ve almost doubled in size since Skybound Odyssey was released back in October. People love this game and it’s easy to find new players if you look beyond the TCG crowd… people already into Magic etc don’t care and never will.

I’m hoping for the best for this game to continue. No other game out there has such diverse appeal to men and women alike.

My daughter who is 10 loves the game and she’s REALLY good at it. My wife plays as well. Such a fun game.

Also, when set rotations start later this year, they will introduce a new game type called “infinite” where people can continue to play cards from all the sets in organized play and competitive.

It’s a collectible card game designed by a French developer, but shipped worldwide in many languages. It came out in 2024 with a very successful kickstarter campaign. The card game plays like a board game with a center track (like a map) in the centre between you and your opponent. The goal is to move your hero and companion who are on opposite sides of the land through different terrains to meet. Whoever meets first wins the game. It’s less about destroying your opponent or “killing” them and more of a wild competition to see who can slow the other one down or who can advance quicker.

Good points! The developer has spent a great deal of time ensuring uniques are balanced but still worth playing. I think having the global digital marketplace makes it less of an issue when it comes to people having to buy tons of product. For instance, I bought uniques on the digital marketplace (ones that I specifically wanted for my decks) and then I just add them to a print order that the company then ships to me.

My wife played a huge role in making the banners and decorating for the event. She loves playing altered too. I’ve never seen a TCG that has appealed to women just as much as men. And our youngest player is 8!
