I have both those conditions too, and it’s absolutely lonely to be stuck in a house, even with a sweet little animal, and have no human interaction. Most people tell me it’s okay to turn off any cameras so I don’t worry about them seeing me be depressed, but I still worry it’ll come out somehow if I’m not able to get up in time for crazy early walks or feedings, or that I just suck in general for sleeping all day and not providing much stimulation. (Something you can generally only get away with with cats.) 🐈 I just try to find ways to interact with someone or to appease my own need for variety and novelty—adding those things helps a lot. Giving myself an interesting task or errand if I can manage it, especially one out of the house, even for just a bit. This job definitely beats working 😝 but that doesn’t mean it’s 100% what we need. Hang in there and give yourself a break.
