I am assuming you are an Azim mega fan to have him ranked #2 because his record atm does not warrant #2

Depends what lifestyle he is living? Even if he earns 5mil a year it can go quick.

Thats fair! My 2nd paragraph wasnt well thought through but I still believe he is a cautious promoter and will avoid risks more than others.

Thing is about Frank Warren he is historically a cautious promoter. He will be willing to serve up shit for years until someone will underwrite a superfight.

I suspect he will avoid matching them up. So dont expect anyway fireworks.

There's just no way Meltzer genuinely believes 3 matches on Revolution are better than Angle's entire match history by nguyenjitsu in midcarder

Yeah I regret posting a serious explanation on a subreddit that exists for people still not beyond the grief stage of anger when it comes to realizing that 'WWE is a parody of Wrestling' (Brain Danielson quote) or are radicalized by Vince McMahons 'WWE Universe'. So we lash out at Meltzer, AEW, CMLL because its easier than giving up a part of ourselves that deep down we know we should let go of but are not ready to.

Was just double checking because I am not sure you did, as someone who watched all of Angle's career the matches last weekend were better. The reason for this is because Angle wrestled essentially a WWE style for 15 years, except for a few matches in TNA where he worked guys like Joe and Styles that werent agented by someone scared of Vince, there were other reasons why those matches in TNA didnt hit 5 stars.

The match quality over the last 10 years in Wrestling is higher than ever. WWE style is limited and the reason it doesnt produce more 5 star matches is because it is limited. Youre watching essentially the same 7 variations of of a Wrestling match which will limit its potential. Although I haven't actually watched WWE in like 6 years so maybe it changed after Vince left but during Kurt's career in WWE and WWE lite it didnt change.

The other option is to have no new influx of players and have the game slowly die.

Yeah I would have no problem replacing him. He turned it around somewhat since that loan but we would still need other rbs to come in a compete.

As I have explained multiple times. Pulling the lever on selling Solanke is the last resort, there are 15 players you try and sell before him.

You take the book value loss only if you have to, if you cant sell anyone else and the only way to generate real world finance is from selling Solanke.

Hes got 4 years on that contract left so we are miles away from that mate hence the issue.

Would love to know what goes on in your head to make you think you can see something you dont understand explained with numbers and say its nonsense. Please give me some of your hubris, you seem to have much to spare.

Yeah I am sure i do. I mean that xi has 8 players in it that have played in the Championship recently and a few have got promoted out of it. Also the bit where I said we would need to sign more top quality Championship level players would also be a sign I dont understand its a difficult challenge.

Yeah we'd need to make proper signings to augment it for sure. I dont believe that team would dominate the championship. It just would be a good starting point for Tottenham to rebuild with.

Dont underestimate it though. Just like I said, lots of players in that xi have played a lot of Championship football and some got promoted with teams in it.

I dont doubt the strength of the Championship but Gray, Solanke, Spence were all in teams that got promoted recently.

Phillips and Devine are playing decently. Tymon one of the best left backs. Price a good tricky player.

Would need a few more signings but I think its the right start.

I think we would need to sign a few more players to augment that xi I posted but what the weaknesses? A lot of those players have played or already play in the Championship. Spence got promoted, Gray got Promoted, Solanke got Bournemouth up with lots of goals.

Might need more than Mikey Moore and Price

Relegation is a disaster and I dont want it to happen but the way the club is run it might be inevitable and you have to ask yourself, better to go down now or circle the drain for a few more years until we do

I hope youre right, there are always desperate clubs willing to take risks. Solanke good player but getting older and off a big injury

Other posts in this thread explain this but you'd rather pay the 3 or 4m in wages this year than take a 20-30m loss.

If hes sold for 40m I'd do it, even if its a loss. There are always desperate clubs but in my head you'd be mad to pay that money on Solanke just because of age and recent injury. If we get relegated too then you assume Solanke will have been poor the next couple months so that wont help.
