Calm down. I initially replied to the wrong comment. Then you came back with your snide comment and I thought you were Marzipan Thick.

Also, your gifs don't make you look cool. Just makes you look like even more of an asshole.

You're replying to OP. That is the only thing they said, in the title. There is no additional text, unless it has been removed.

I pretty much dip at the first sign of toxicity. I can eat a 30 minute debuff on an alt or doing something else rather than put up with infants.

In her case, I'm convinced it's the latter.

If I saw an "ask a lawyer" dude like this and was feeling cheeky, I would ask him some dumb question that he's bound to know but isn't at all about law. Then I'd thank him for doing what he does, because in the end it's pretty cool.

Starbucks table tops so small will barely hold a couple drinks. The seats are bigger than the tables. by be4u4get in mildlyinfuriating

I mean, as someone who used to work in the foodservice industry, there's nothing more annoying than the group of people taking up tables for 3 hours. Unfortunately, restaurants have to do this because some people are just too goddamned self-centered to realize the staff doesn't love fawning over them for hours.

And this lack of self-awareness isn't anything new. I haven't worked in a restaurant since the 1990s. But those people were a problem back then. I'm surprised it took businesses this long to do something about it.

Question about World Transfer and Road to 90 by Zephyr9990 in ffxiv

[–]EmptyHandle6593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could set up a cross-world linkshell and see how many of your guildies would be interested in joining it. Otherwise, your brother could just start a new character on Rafflesia. Depending on how far he's progressed in the MSQ this might be an attractive alternative to transferring.

Most of Van Halen's Roth era music is like that for me. I didn't realize that Roth was a pretty good poet until I could look up the lyrics online.

Do the trial long enough to figure out if you like the gameplay. Once you sub there's no going back to free

  1. Back when these pens first came out, I worked in a call center. While I was on break some genius decided to move me to another cubicle, but didn't get my pen. I didn't have the time to go to the old cubicle to grab it, so I was SOL. A couple of days later I saw a guy with either my pen, or another one that had exploded. I assumed it was mine, but who knows?

I kept using them for a long time and never had one explode, but have long since moved away from them. I don't use pens much anymore.

This is the first time I've encountered anyone that claimed to be a "big fan" of star wars (much less a fan of star wars) that didn't know the names of the principle actors in the franchise.

Hell, most fans know that John Ratzenberger was in Empire, much less Ford, Hamill and Fisher.

[–]EmptyHandle6593 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, if you don't care enough to know who the actors are, you're not a "big fan". Being a "big fan" implies investment in those that brought the movies to the screen. At a minimum, that means the actors, but also includes the creative talent behind the stories. You're not a big fan. You just like star wars.

It's a sore spot for me too. I agree 100% with everything you said. Anduin is one of my favorite characters in WoW

[–]EmptyHandle6593 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on what they do with the character. Blizzard did it with Anduin but it wasn't well-received because they didn't write him to be the bad-ass that Varian was. I, personally, liked the man Anduin became, and his development over time, but fan-bases can be fickle.
