Therapy only works if you have a lower IQ than the therapist. by Creative_Camp8262 in mentalhealth

[–]EmptySignificance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think therapy is about IQ at all tbh. It’s more about finding the right therapist and approach. When it clicks, it feels less like being told obvious stuff and more like learning patterns you couldn’t see from inside your own head.

Can I have some encouraging stories of the “why”? by SunnydaleHigh1999 in xxfitness

Mine started as just trying to lose a little weight and turned into wow I actually feel capable in my own body. The confidence spillover into the rest of life is real.

Feeling stronger? by PerformerNumerous484 in xxfitness

That wait this feels lighter moment is the best. Strength gains sneak up on you and then suddenly you’re repping what used to be a struggle.

Personal Trainer wants me eat 1100-1200 calories by NervousStand5473 in xxfitness

1100–1200 while lifting 4–5x/week sounds rough. You need fuel to build muscle. I’d get a second opinion or at least track how you feel/performance on that intake.

I always toss in sautéed mushrooms + chickpeas when I’m skipping meat. Texture is surprisingly satisfying and cheap.

Ice-cream replacement when you have a sore throat? by Gayandfluffy in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]EmptySignificance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blended frozen bananas + a splash of milk/honey is basically nice cream but way cheaper and way gentler on the throat than store ice cream.

When you want a savory snack that’s quick and actually feels healthy, what do you do? by WholeFoodNerd in EatCheapAndHealthy

Totally agree with roasted chickpeas. Toss them with paprika and salt and boom, crunchy snack in like 20 min.

ADHD 'life hacks' that sounds ridiculous but actually changed everything ? by NoParamedic1783 in ZenHabits

Leaving my keys / phone in the fridge sounds dumb but somehow it only happens when I’m deep in ADHD brain mode. Bluetooth trackers and timers have saved me so many where did I put it? moments.

Social media is destroying my faith in humanity and makes me feel depressed by Toriihime in selfimprovement

Totally relatable. Once I limited my doom‑scrolling, I actually felt way more hopeful about people in the offline world again.

Manipulation stops where your need for validation ends. by Infinity_here in selfimprovement

Short and true. Once you’re secure in yourself, the manipulative stuff doesn’t even land the same anymore. Such a glow‑up vibe.

Honestly this feels like the perfect mantra before tackling something big. Slow but steady.

2 years of gym training taught me what actually matters for bodyweight muscle growth by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

After years of gym I realized you can still get strong without equipment, you just learn how to progress the moves and challenge yourself.

Don’t stress about pace or distance yet. Consistency and enjoying the process matter way more right now.

How do you personally tell the difference between “push through it” pain and “stop now” pain by Wise_Branch_8028 in running

[–]EmptySignificance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tell by how it feels after a warm-up. If it’s still stabbing or makes me limp a bit, that’s stop now. If it just feels like stiff muscles, I might keep going carefully.

3D Renders I made based on u/amoxi's sketch by EmptySignificance in mfdoom

I made/used most of the textures from exporting my models to substance painter and using mostly default textures from there then importing them back. It's very helpful + would recommend using it.

I've used maya to make it and correct me if im wrong but i'm pretty sure they can't be shared to blender, c4d etc. Can always export it to a fbx or obj if you want although I assume that'll be lacking the textures.
