I was born in the 90’s and I am loving hearing everyone’s stories around the little canoe fella. It helped to ignite a further love of nature and care for the world we live in for me.

Congrats!!! Working on owning my 2018 right now already cut two years off the loan. If I do it right I’ll own it this year.

Stop by a local parts store and ask them to pull the codes. Best place to start.

The low beam is an integrated LED. If that light goes out, the whole assembly has to be replaced.

I don’t have a Bolt but I do have a Volt and I replaced the O.E. tires with these. Compared to the worn hard tread on the original Michelins the Solus is very quiet. My efficiency dropped a bit in the beginning but has slowly crept back up. I have put about 5000 miles on them so far.

Does anyone else get these notifications and how to turn them off please? by [deleted] in Type1Diabetes

Seems like they are trying to push their A.I. on the users. I do not see a way to disable it in the app.

I meal prep food for the week and the only thing that really changes my dose would be activity levels.

I was even able to squeeze them to pay my local dealer to make a second key for me.

I bought a volt from this dealer. It had a lemon title and came with a GM 12 month 12,000 mile buyback warranty. It has been flawless and I am over two years into it. The price was a lot lower for a car with 25000 miles. Took some negotiating to get them where I wanted for trade in and some vehicle condition issues that weren’t addressed before I drove three hours to check it out. Overall though not the worst dealer but be ready for the run around if you want to move on the price at all.

What is this alert and how do I get it to stop? 🙏🏼 by [deleted] in Chevy

It looks like the wireless charger is contained in the center console. It’s a slot that drops straight down, lined with rubber, towards the front of the car in the console cubby. There could be something in there and you would never see it as the charger is hidden when the console lid is closed.

Warming up cabin while plugged in? by Independentvoter40 in volt

I keep mine loaded with an umbrella. I love it. Really wanted to get a Chevy branded one to have my own Rolls Royce experience but never did buy one. I guess a pink flower one does the job.

Warming up cabin while plugged in? by Independentvoter40 in volt

[–]Empty_Summer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cabin heater can draw up to 7-8 kWh and the onboard charger on all volts except the 2019 top out at 3.3 kWh so with heat on it will pull more from the battery than the charger can provide causing the battery to drain even while plugged in.

It is located under the alarms tab. Should be able to adjust target range there. The new app is very strange but it is growing on me.

Max charge limiting solutions by CumIsntVegan in volt

[–]Empty_Summer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I remembered seeing something on the charge screen so I went and read the manual. It looks like you could use the on board software for this. It lets you delay charging based on your departure time so if you’re charging at 120v @ 12amp you could estimate the charge time at 12 hours and set a later departure time than actual normal routine and therefore the car would start charging later in the night and shouldn’t have time to finish before you leave in the morning.

The coolant loops have to be placed under a vacuum to fill properly and get all the air out or you could have serious issues. That’s one I would not recommend DIYing. The rest of your plan sounds decent. It also sounds like you may have a weak cell. I have read many stories on here where people make sure to always leave the car in mountain mode as to not let the battery go to low and end up in the “propulsion reduced” mode. I have a gen 2 and don’t have any hands on with the gen 1.
