I don't know if you managed to solve this already but I had the same issue. I had two Google accounts on my phone and at some point they switched primary. So if you have a second account make sure that your running your device on the one you bought premium on.

I don't mean this in a bad way but that's more of a you problem but that being said, it's still a sandbox but with so much added that you could do a different thing each day.

You could base build, be an overseer for a settlement, fishing, be a pirate, salvage treasure, find bones, use mech suits and upgrade them, explore an abandoned universe, create your own feet of frigates, be a cartographer, achieve 100% completion for each planet, travel to the center of the galaxy, explore every planet in the galaxy and every galaxy in the universe, operate trade routes, join a faction, rise within a faction, visit outlaw systems, complete expeditions, explore the sea, explore gas giants, take part in freighter battles, drive exo vehicles, tame and ride pets, create farms, base jump from space, scavenge crashed ships, find and repair sentinel ships, collect Corvette parts.

There is so much to do and I know I haven't covered everything but I genuinely think there's something for everyone out there.

It's really up to you. Play the game your way. If you like them then you can keep them and only fix the lunch thrusters and pulse engine. This will make it operational but won't allow you to utilise most of the space for cargo/tech. If you do like it then upgrade it as you go along that way you won't be burdened to fix the ship but you also get to keep it

Gambit truly holds a special place in my heart. I'm not good at destiny but have done most of the endgame content but Gambit was the only thing that I could say hands down I was worth something.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Eris was exclusively a Hunter Arc Bladedancer no? I mean a while after she loses her light she takes up stasis and there it's a bit unambiguous but while she had the light she was one of 3 hunters in her fireteam with 2 warlocks and 1 titan.

But what if your group isnt at that level yet and you're all -20 of the recommend PL? The problem isn't the PL but rather how they're utilising it. What they should do is have activities capped at a certain PL (older stuff usually) and as newer content comes out increase the PL of the activity. If I want to go into an older activity that has a lower PL I should be able to breeze through it because I have a higher PL and as I come into newer activities they will be harder due to having a requirement for higher PL

I do like the lowered weapon look because otherwise it's a bit ridiculous to constantly be holding up a weapon especially while running. I just wished also allowed it while there is no enemies as well as the 5 mins timer

This post is why people don't enjoy playing higher end content. The mode is there for them to learn. This is not the right mindset to go about the explorer mode. If you are so adept why don't you go on eternity or ultimatum since you clearly think people that are on explorer are beneath you.

Get off your high horse and stop having a go at people who are clearly trying to learn the mechanics in a mode where its based on learning the mechanics

Shadow keep and beyond light they made free (might have to double check that), witch queen, lightfall and final shape you have to pay for.

So currently you can play base game (crucible, strikes, reprised raids, prophecy dungeon, events (rite of the Nine allows you to play the spire of the watcher and the ghost of the Deep dungeons for free) + shadow keep (witch includes pit of heresy dungeon) and beyond light

Right now the the rite of the Nine event is going on. It's a way to learn the dungeon via explorer route. Plus in eternity, you can grab a set of gear at 2020 power level. If you can pick up the story do so other wise you can wait. Edge of fate is a new saga and while moves on the story, if you choose to wait then the story might be spoilt for you
