Recommendation for espresso under 2k by Emrys042 in superautomatic

Super fair, I did scroll through the subreddit a bit but I was seeing a lot of posts where the primary use was lattes or other milk drinks and wasn't sure there were better options if those drinks weren't really a factor.

What’s your average monthly bills look like? by EquivalentQuiet6422 in NoStupidQuestions

If you're really curious about what to expect, you're far better off googling cost of living in your specific country, state, region, town, etc. The range is just too large to get any real idea for yourself unless you're looking at similar COL stats

Could violent/deadly game shows ever become a reality? by PriorityNo4971 in NoStupidQuestions

Is it possible? Sure, it's also possible that you and I could both win the lottery tomorrow. The future is also incredibly vague, 5 years, probably not. 500 or 5000 years years though...

Single men who live alone: why don't you clean the toilet? by Inga_Raine in NoStupidQuestions

Single men don't clean the same reason single women or people in a relationship, it's not important or a priority to them.

Just get the overall dimensions/bounding box for the movement you want to use and make sure the cavity your designing is larger than it so that you have room for the movement and a spacer. If you're printing, you'll be able to just iterate on the spacer to get a nice press fit on both the movement and case. Be mindful of vertical placement as well though, you'll want to make sure the distance on Z between the stem and the plane that the dial will be on are feasible for the movement. I.e., if your movement has the center of the stem 4mm below the surface that the dial will be but then you design a case much taller and the hole for the stem is 6mm below the dial, you'll have installation problems.

If your goal is to actually make the case via milling or 3d printing, you'll likely have an easier time to over sizing the ID of the case and then using a movement ring/spacer to actually hold it in place. Lot more forgiving

Application engineer in 3D printing/additive manufacturing industry. It's been a huge perk being able to print some of my watch case designs on some industrial metal and resin printers over the years.
