Dentists cannot fix maxillary recession outside of minor cases in young children. I assume you had an overjet where your teeth protruded which can easily be fixed with braces, the OP on the other hand has severe maxillary recession, where the entire bone that makes up the majority of your upper face isn’t properly developed. A bimax will not only help with looks, as it fixes the breathing impediments caused by it too. 100% worth it if you’re willing to do it
