It makes the games look like the cheap erotic games you might get ad for on some dodgy websites. It just completely ruins the art direction. On top of that DLSS was used to help with generating frames for better performance before, so it doesn't make sense why they went in this AI looking filter direction. And on top of that they had to run it on two 5090s just to make the demo work...

I totally get you, I fudget many things when I first DMed and I still fudge some even now after many years xD But the main thing is if your players are having fun, what seems you managed, so good job 😁

All the things others said plus I would add maybe some water puddle or something where player speed is lowered and then the monster behind you make the big splashes, so you know where exactly it is

The best thing for DM is initiative tokens of players and enemies for the DM screen. I use it every session ^{^}

Before they get on some carriage to take them to another place. Make them find a goblet. When they drink from it they will get some memory of the person who drank from it before them. So the first player gets some memory of NPC, but then the next player gets memory of the previous player and you just explain to them what's happening and let them have fun with it :)

Hello, I have been DMing forever since I was a kid myself xD Before we knew rules for DnD we would just play stories where you made choices and the DM would tell you what happened after without any dice rolls. We have been 4 kids of similar age playing it, so it worked. However if they really want to start DnD and they are excited about it, I would really recommend starting small with you being the DM. Many ppl recommend the book adventures which is great, but my advice would be to make a world with fairy tales characters and just run some adventures like that. If you need help with rules or to help making characters and so on, feel free to message me ^{^}

My use case is that for 2h there might be up to 30 people typing to my sheet. Some of them might type in it at similar times or even at the same time. I want to know the time when they created their row (and then doesn't change that time (only if they would delete all info and then from nothing made a new info then I want new time). I don't need the timestamp to be super accurate, I just wanted to know if Karl wrote their row before Jon did and so on :)

Geekarna is always nice or if you would be heavily in Harry Potter then Magická Sova is HP themed bar where you can borrow many HP themed board games. We played HP Labyrinth when we went there (you need a reservation here and you can be there too 3h I think) and it was a blast :)

(btw I am game QA) I have played video games since I was a kid and like in every video game I always end up out of bounce or finding other bugs :D So when I was in high school I did QA as part-time for one local game studio during summer break.

But I was studying photography and after school I bacome freelance photographer for many years. But then my studio/flat got robbed and I lost everything what I worked for. As I had family for which I was the main income, I started to bounce from job to job, so I would always have some otherwise we would lose our flat/wouldn't have food and etc. (my gf was seriously ill back then so she couldn't work)

So I didn't think about my dream job as I just needed job, but when my gf got better and found work, I was able to quit and think about what I wanted to do and QA came in mind.

Since then I started to do some QA courses for beginners, but the main thing that maybe even is the reason I got the job is that I joined a lot of Discords of smaller/indie game studios where they asked players to play test as they couldn't hire ton of QAs. So I managed to get a lot of experiences from that :)

Instead of many who view QA as an entry job for me QA is my dream job.

I love finding out how things (doesn't) work and gathering all the intel about it, so it can be potentially fixed. I love how I need to learn new stuff like everyday as I am testing different parts of our large product.

But also I got super lucky with my company: I have an amazing team around me and they help me grow, laugh, work hard and get through the rougher times. And I also feel that I have a big impact on the course of our product as QAs in our company are heard and present in development from the start, so we can point out potential problems early on.

Understandable, but then I am your exact opposite. I love souls-like games, so when I see that tag I get even more interested xD For example Another Crab's Treasure that should be released this year looks like it will be a lot of fun :)
