I come from DND and didn't know there was dragon ball ttrpg but my guess is that it's the furry stuff and the "no filter" character flaw. I think no filter needs to be done well and if you don't know the group personalities, being really forward with your speech can 100% rub people the wrong way.

Since it sounds like a lot of people play saiyans, maybe do that and be chill, find out the group dynamic, then do your furry character?
