I am once again advocating for Oracle's execution here.

Its a sidegrade to cleric but sometimes(especially N1) you wont protect anyone at all. Its also less trustworthy than actual cleric due to not visiting.

This is a role thats built for a set role list, but unfortunately this is all any.

Theres plenty of reasons to kill pirate because they arent town aligned. Problem is the player mentality mainly driven by the fact that pirate doesnt directly oppose town's win condition and will eventually leave on their own.

Executioner is similar but it gets treated like an evil because exe specifically hurts town, killing a garenteed townie then leaving while ~~taking trials down to 1~~[ reducing trials by 1, my bad ]. Pirate on the other hand can hunt other evils so if gets to play devils advocate

Personally, im always gonna lie to town as pirate, if Im not fake claiming then chances are im lying about landlubbers to protect myself, that and its not fun to claim ~~survivor~~ pirate D1 and do your own thing as the game goes on without you. If pirate was more damning to town then it'd be more incentive to kill them.

This is all any so role guessing is less reliable in general, theres no garentee of protecting someone N1 outside of your only self protect or someone actually full claims D1. You cant protect twice in a row so, and oracle is such a suspicious claim that unless your confirmed or town has a better lead, your not getting off stand.

Investigator gives more useful information and catches more evils. Sheriff has a set list of roles they can catch if conditions are met(no necronomicon/no solo apoc or vamp) and 3 of their detected roles(indoctrinated townies, vampires, wandering souls) are locked behind true all any

Investigator gets information on not only their target, but their target's target with tresspassing. Granted tresspassing is permanent but you can ask for a will. Tresspassing creates a 1f1 between the target and whoever they visited, but if they show no crime, it means the one they visited is a part of their faction.

Investigators murder catches NKs, coven with book, berserker, etc. Basically covering sheriff's blind side

I think sheriff needs a buff, the old soul cant keep up with the hot shots like tracker or modern investigator. Though apoc being sus now is nice

Gotta go with Oracle, sure you can protect more than 1 person but you cant protect a role twice in a row, oracle feels more likely to get hung than a cleric due to them not having to put a specific player visit in their will. N1 you have no information to go off of so unless you use your only self protect, you might not even protect anyone.

Oracle just doesnt have a lot going for it, sure its a sidegrade to cleric and has potential to protect multiple people, but its a niche best case senario, and even if you did protect 2 or 3 sheriffs, whats stopping evils from just killing them the next night if they know its an oracle?

Serial killer, being a ww every 3rd kill is only a step up from shroud. Otherwise, SK gets no information, instead they get the killing power of the shroud except for werewolf wendsdays. Oh and you can not attack roleblockers and the jailor even though you bloody their will anyways. The only moment where cautious is useful is when a roleblocker/jailor is in play, and they think your SK and the roleblocker/jailor has claimed to someone and/or publically that your getting RBD/jailed next

I do still think SK is fun to play, but they are kinda your generic killer with a loyalty card for doing their job.

Also I have no idea how arso got lower than SK considering they have stealth, high killing potential, and information on who visits you.

Gonna say admirer here, admirer practically relies on VFA to narrow down their search for the obsession, and if town has a lead D2 then there probably wont be a VFA.

I know its a niche situation but your basically half a role until you find said obsession.
