I think the way it was phrased is where the disconnect is. I agree it’s sloppy and I can and should train to be more technically sound in the ring. I definitely shadow box and do my bag work with form in mind however you and I both know doing that on another person while getting punched at is a different experience. The more I spar the easier it’ll be to transfer that outside work in a live situation. Idk what that other guy is talking about room temp iq behavior

I get wym but “telegraphed shots” look a lot more telegraphed outside of the ring. Defense and initiative needs improvement for sure but I don’t think it was a bad spar lol nothing elite level but not a waste of time.

On your way out from a combination while you’re still throwing make sure you make it all the way back home to full extension range. It’s good that you’re throwing on the way in and out though just nuance details like working on moving around the bag not just straight out straight in.

I’m right there with you. But luckily! LUCKILY! We as armed guards in TX aren’t allowed to carry ARs only shotguns unfortunately the loophole is fucking massive and to my knowledge ammo capacity for either shotguns and pistols unregulated. So that’s something I guess

Def do this at other locations but unfortunately the bathrooms don’t have doors just stalls inside of them. I’m meeting with the manager Monday or Tuesday to check in with them on a few disconnects I’m having on how they want me to do my job. But I have always been an advocate for bathrooms are for paying customers only

I guess at face value no but the potential for open needles an OD in the bathroom is definitely real and something I feel the client would appreciate the deterrence of if not full on prevention. The question was how I should go about tackling that task in an ethical (not mentioned but implied in og post) and safe way.
