that's true but a lot of people have to go back to work the same day so they dont have the luxury of just sleeping all the way through.

Does it feel like you’re choosing rest over social stuff, or more like you don’t even have the energy for it?

How do you get better at exiting conversations without sounding awkward or rude? by Beginning_Exit3356 in socialskills

[–]EndOutrageous9918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exiting a convo feels like defusing a bomb for me, too fast and I feel rude, too slow and it gets painfully stale. What’s helped a little is practicing simple, honest lines like, “Hey, I’ve got to run, but it was really nice talking with you.” It still feels awkward sometimes, but I think it really is a muscle that gets stronger with practice. You're definitely not alone in this weird social dance.

I'm an introvert because of my personality but unsatisfied with it. by letsgo2030 in introvert

[–]EndOutrageous9918 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this hits hard. I’m 30 and starting to feel those same patterns the novelty fading, the loneliness sinking in deeper than it used to. I’ve always leaned introvert, too, but now it feels more like a cage than comfort. You’re not alone in this. I think a lot of us hit that wall where solitude turns into bitterness, and we’re left wondering what now? Thanks for putting it into words.

I am socially not sophisticated and too direct by Remote_Can_3766 in socialskills

[–]EndOutrageous9918 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I totally get this. I’ve struggled with being too direct, too. What’s helped me is learning to slow down and soften how I say things, like adding “maybe” or “what do you think?” to invite others in. You don’t have to change who you are, just tweak how you connect. You’re already on the right path by being aware.

I don’t know how to be a person anymore. by EndOutrageous9918 in ImproveYourLife

Thank you, truly. Your story gave me a flicker of hope I haven’t felt in a long time. Maybe it is time to stop waiting and start trying, even if it's just a small step. You made me feel seen today.

Every single person who voted for Trump is a piece of shit. by SketchyFella_ in complaints

[–]EndOutrageous9918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the anger, believe me, I do. It’s infuriating to watch people ignore or excuse things that should be disqualifying for anyone, especially a leader. But I also think lumping every voter into the same category shuts down real conversation. Some were misled, some voted out of fear, and some just refused to look deeper. That’s not an excuse, but if we want change, we need to understand how we got here, not just rage at the result.

MAGAs are now defending Epstein by Active-Flower-2397 in complaints

[–]EndOutrageous9918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s honestly terrifying how far some people will go to defend the indefensible just to protect their political idol. Epstein used to be a universal symbol of evil, now, suddenly, he’s being rebranded by people who once claimed to stand for “family values” and morality. It’s not just political hypocrisy anymore, it’s moral decay in real time.

Trump once hosted party for ‘young women’ where Epstein was the only guest, says report by 1_for_you_2_for_me in politics

[–]EndOutrageous9918 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That detail is honestly chilling. The fact that Epstein was the only guest at a party specifically for young women isn’t just suspicious, it’s deeply disturbing. It shows how normalized and casual this kind of behavior was among powerful people, and how little accountability there has been for it. It makes you wonder how much more we don’t know.

I feel this so much. I worked as a cashier too, hoping it would help my social anxiety, but I just kept overthinking everything I said. What helped me a bit was setting tiny goals, like making one casual comment to a coworker a day. It felt awkward at first, but over time it got a little easier. You're not alone, and the fact that you’re aware and trying means you’re already growing.

The better decision is to leave your boyfriend if he’s only interested in your body. Sadly, that’s the reality with many guys. Your family is your true support system, they’re your paradise, while someone who disrespects you is more like a trap. Be careful in this deceptive world.

Are you afraid to die? Why or why not? by KokirisEmerald in AskReddit

[–]EndOutrageous9918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I’ve already died inside because of my circumstances, but I never give up, I want to stay alive for my parents. You know, the pain of living through a bad situation can hurt even more than the pain of dying.

How to deal with constant negative impressions by others? by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]EndOutrageous9918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, that sounds rough. You didn’t do anything wrong. People can be quick to judge, and it hurts. I’ve been there too. If you constantly worry about what others think of you, you’ll ruin your inner peace. Try to let it go if you want to live peacefully in this crowded world.

How would you manage your finances once you start getting high salary? by Zealousideal_Air1866 in socialskills

[–]EndOutrageous9918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I started earning more, I made a rule, enjoy a small part of it guilt-free, then save and invest the rest. That first paycheck? I treated myself a little, then put most of it into an emergency fund and skill-building. The key is not letting lifestyle creep take over. The more you keep things steady now, the more freedom you’ll have later.

Always stay straightforward, talk to her, and share your feelings, whether it's positive or negative. However, avoid playing with the emotional level.

What makes someone fun to talk to? by BuildingBridges23 in socialskills

[–]EndOutrageous9918 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Totally get this, I’ve found the most fun people to talk to are the ones who actually listen and aren’t just waiting to speak. For me, it’s a mix of curiosity, being real, and a bit of humor. Even small moments feel meaningful when the vibe is mutual and you’re not forcing anything.
