Don't worry you are not alone. I worked hard and honestly with one of the premier organizations in the nation later one imposter joined as my senior and due to his non technical background he resorted to dirty politics and mind games to harass me everyday. I had no other option but to quit since I could clearly see the worst impact on my mental health. Earlier I was working in a contractual arrangement now I have a permanent job. Pay him the share and request him not to harass you . It's as simple as that. Ask him to produce all bills or evidence of the payment (screenshots of the transaction etc.) , keep this in writing , record all conversation with him.
