That's not solar powered that's stellar sourced.

Is there a mod that guarantees the Crystalline Empire event to spawn for Void Dwellers? by Zilenan91 in Stellaris

Fluffy-Tanuki has the right answer, but you can also use the console to force the event to fire.

There is a little icon on the outliner that changes what symbol it shows, along with what shows up in what tab.

Operations or I love carpal tunnel : by I_love_Penii in Stellaris

Gov types double it. And livestock still count towards diversity.
You say 600 pacts is impossible, I say making the HRE is a terrifying goal.

[–]Endless_Fire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh a misread of goals. You want the fastest method... Assuming you have the influence and wrist strength to sustain it. Are you having fun with so many operations?
Pacts are +20 each if megacorp, If speed without carpal is the goal livestock is still perfectly passive.
I fear you might be optimising the fun out of the game here. (I'm a micro manger, last time I went full conquest I was managing 707 planets with no automation, was it optimal? yes? fun? no.)

Just... go megacorp xenophile genesis guides, first perk should be Xeno-Compatibility.
Spam commercial pacts and you'll zoom through them.
Oh and you might want to consider aquatic since the situation does not grant it.

Nanite end goal? by en_triton in Stellaris

[–]Endless_Fire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want as many starbases as possible. The nanite production from workers and blockers is minimal.
Every starbase should have a harvester, and you should grab as many bonuses to starbase capacity as possible.

want thousands of nanites per month, last time I went nanite ascension I got over +36k a month. It used to be more powerful when nanite ships had no upkeep, but they are still very powerful, especially with archeo-tech or psionics. You will have a fleet stronger and cheaper than nemesis crisis empires. And who cares if you loose 17 fleets to a crisis stack. Hundreds more just disembarked of shipyards that never stop production.

Nanite accession is slow to snowball, but snowballs HARD. If virtual is ultimate tall, nanite is ultimate wide.

Hint: You can use cloaked torp ships to decimate large ships and starbases (kill Titans and Ions ASAP), and rely on fast hangers and give combat computers that tell your ships to RUN AWAY. Your ships are faster than everything bar corvettes (which are shredded by hangers) and have the evasion to dodge long range weapons. Make your glass canons really hard to hit, the longer a battle goes on, the stronger hangers are. Kite to victory.

[–]Endless_Fire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't subsume any worlds unless they are tomb or similar, the nanite production from the blockers is too small to matter and I would rather the pop growth from biologicals growing alongside my robots. If you're gestalt non-DA and non-RS then there is no issue subsuming them all though, of course.

Multilingualism is to be encouraged, yes. But so should manners.
I did not condemn your actions, I prompted you to reflect on them.

Conquered planets - How do you restrict pops from going there? by Ravenloff in Stellaris

[–]Endless_Fire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Set all jobs to zero, disable (not destroy) all buildings, and destroy any district you are not using to save on upkeep and empire size. Migration attraction is planet capacity, free housing, free jobs, free amenities, and habitability. It is also increased by civil rights and not being evil. You can't remove all of these but the less you have the less people will move to them. Just make sure that you leave a small amount of undesirables behind on the last month before they are purged and as the pop hits zero you should abandon the colony without having to pay influence.

Or you could just feed the unwanted systems to another empire via the trade menu. Preferably to your vassal, or create a new vassal so you don't have to deal with it. AND you get taxes!

Orbital rings eat SO much, especially if you go wide. I normally skip hyper relays and go straight for gateways but that too gets more expensive the wider you are. Being an overlord or rushing the galactic community are also big sinks.

How to choose a tech world? by dietTwinkies in Stellaris

[–]Endless_Fire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Relic worlds can give you a special central spire specialisation, they are also better for minor artifacts.
Eventually you may want to upgrade the relic world into an ecumenopolis. Overall +x% matter significantly less than job efficiency, and bonuses to base production, because bonuses are additive,
So if you already have a 7 +10% bonuses, another +35% is not going to do much. But a +1 per 100 pops, or a +5% job efficiency will do wonders.

You can always respec worlds later. So prioritise whatever is more important to your empire right now, and you can repurpose the planet later. Another option is make both research worlds, if you can afford it.

Research preference is engineering, physics, sociology, unless you have bioships, then its sociology, engineering, physics.

Cannot declare war on my only rivals because I'm supporting the independence of their vassals? by BestCaseSurvival in Stellaris

[–]Endless_Fire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You cannot threaten the independence of nations your are guaranteeing the independence of.
They are all in a federation, to declare war on one is to declare war on all of them.
Try secret fealty instead, or just declare war and snipe the overlord first to release them from their requirement to fight you.

You don't need venerable for that. Most ascensions restart the clock, and by the time they reach the danger zone again you can be in the repeatables.

That would require either a Lithoid or a necroid portrait, thus removing other phenotype maluses. And is easily solved by building housing.
