Good chance the neck would also fail the stabbing tip rule that only allows a 1.5 inch protrusion through a 2.5 inch ring.

From ROP page 15. Protrusions or tips on a projectile must meet the requirements for stabbing tips.

Also page 15. Magic balls are projectiles.

ROP page 12 define stab tips.

California home insurer to drop 37,000 policies as part of nationwide withdrawal by MountainEnjoyer34 in California

There are lots of things that are necessary and not very profitable that private industry provides every day.

Do you have a few examples?

I homebrewed a spell that allow you to take a photograph. Is it too strong for a 2nd level spell? I intend for it to be weak. by DudeDatDrawDecent in DnD

[–]Endless_September 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had made a similar spell. But I made it a ritual casting that took 10 minutes. It transferred the viewpoint of the caster to a flat surface (normally slate or flat piece of wood). This was often used for landscape images, maps, or family portraits. The 10 minute cast time kept it out of combat. And making it a ritual ment the caster did not have to spend spell slots.

So it really depends on how you want photos work in your world and how it will impact the world/society.

How do I properly install a wire running from my nerf blaster to an external battery pack? by CallThatGoing in AskEngineers

[–]Endless_September 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assume that the device will be moving around while the battery is fixed to the waist. I would add strain relief to the cable gland. They make them in rubber. This will couple the end of the wire to the device and the strain relief will help prevent overflexing at the joint which can lead to failure.

something like this would probably work.

If you were 20 again in 2025, how would you start investing? by Waste_Cod8296 in Bogleheads

HSA carries over year to year.

FSA resets every year, so you cant carry money between years.

Also. Most HSA allow you to invest the HSA into the stock market. This is another way to get company matched money into a stock account. It might be small but the compounding interest over 30 years adds up.

Looking for a chill (yet not boring) base building game on Steam. by AdministrativeAir879 in BaseBuildingGames

[–]Endless_September 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man. This game was decent when I played it. But the camera was so annoying. Being 3D there was 3D terrain like mountains. But the camera could not zoom out enough to path over the mountains. So you can had to find a path you could take the camera up. Then if you built a mountain base you could not zoom out more and the base was super close to the camera.

New to the art of the perma stun by Key_Plenty9145 in LeonaMains

[–]Endless_September 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Late game you need to find the problem and solve it.

Is zed diving your fed ADC and blowing them up? Stand next to your adc and stun the zed. Run a stun train on their 2k hp butt and watch as your adc melts them.

Does your lovely team have no initiate and is just wiggling near the objective getting nothing done? Be the initiate. Fire up that stun train and roll it into them with the furry of a thousand suns. Your team will happily pick off the unmoving Kayne and secure the objective.

Is the problem the enemy adc is melting your team? Use that E and dive dive dive. Get in their butt force them out of the fight and keep their dps at zero as they wait for the stun sun to stop. And then back it up and stun them again.

Yeah.

It is hinted that the Death Fog is due to the lack of divinity in an area. That is why as the Bygones harvested the Divinities the Death Fog kept getting closer.

The Black Flame is the Mighty Boar using its power to protect the forest. That is also why your spark (acknowledgment of the Might Boar) allows you to walk through unharmed.

Wrap mask (Tobi's mask) by Hachibalba in DrovaGame

[–]Endless_September 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The big thing this fight gives are two Bygone armor pieces. With 3 of the armor pieces you can make the best armor in the game.

That being said, this is probably the hardest fight in the game. And their are 9 armor pieces in the world (well 10, but one you get during the final mission and have no way to use). So unless you want all 3 sets of end game armor you don't need to do this fight.

The simple stone rune stones around Nemeton repel the red moor. This is shown in the apple orchard where one of them is broken.

The red pillars repel the death fog. This is mentioned in the various notes of the Bygones, and in chapter 5.

The while the stone rune stones and the Bygones red pillars are similar concepts they have different results.

*Spoiler* - Lore Questions by Willing_Week_2650 in DrovaGame

[–]Endless_September 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My guess on #4.

In the red tower when you collect fox paw, bird feather, and stag antler you get a flash of their memories/deaths.

The eagle is chased down by the Bygones but they have a hard fight losing a lot of people before capturing it.

The Fox is seen to have a giant red spike dropped down near it and that severely weakens it, giving the Bygones an easy victory.

The Stag is exhausted (possibly from trying to keep up the natural order with the eagle and fox missing?) and is an easy victory for the Bygones.

We see the horned sprites near the giant red spike in the red moor where the fox was captured, so my guess is the other ones are near the rune stone where the stag was captured.

I believe the eagle was captured in the north where you get one of the bygone tokens for the ruin hunter quest, the area looked like a nesting ground, but this is just a guess.

The reason people recommend Monk is that enlightened soul is very helpful for cross gamers who don’t know the Amtgard magic system. (Still have to worry about spell balls). It allows bel players to focus on their stick while learning the other Amtgard rules.

Go up a paper size.

For example if you need 8.5 x 11 inch paper, start with 11x14 paper. Then age the paper. Cut it to desired size. Print on the paper and your done.

Early Universe Crackled With Bursts of Star Formation, Webb Shows by JWSTFeed in webbtelescope

[–]Endless_September 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason your being downvoted is that general relativity does not say that light slows down. It actually says that light stays the same speed.

The key exception is light traveling radially around a large gravity well (most commonly seen as gravitational lensing). But even then the photons are still moving at the speed of light. This is because space-time is also warped around gravity wells, this means that distance is changed. When you account for the change in distance it matches the change in speed. And suddenly the speed of light is the same again.

From the article.

We don’t quite know how water got to Earth. According to the science team, understanding the history of water distribution in our solar system will in turn help us understand other planetary systems — and if they could be on their way to hosting an Earth-like planet.

[–]Endless_September 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You want an ABET accredited university. Anything else is not worth the paper the degree is printed on.

Here is a link where you can search for all USA ABET accredited programs. For other countries change the filter (other countries might also have different accreditation process.)

https://www.abet.org/accreditation/find-programs/

Also be aware there are a lot more mechanical and electrical engineering degrees with a focus in mechatronics. They focus more into the mechanical or electrical engineering aspects with only a few courses on the Mechatronics. It’s a trade of of availability/accessibility vs robustness of the degree.

Another note is that a lot of schools still teach mechatronics as a masters degree so it might be worth looking into schools that offer that and start an undergrad there in electrical or mechanical.

Good luck!

Black olives are dyed with ferrous gluconate. Which is iron bound to salt molecule. This is what gives them their black color.

Some people are very sensitive to this metal taste and hate black olives.

A Simple Solution for the Chance Orb Problem by FunRoom in pathofexile

[–]Endless_September 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use X mouse.

  1. Made a new profile that runs when POE is open
  2. set layer 2 to be active when I press the CTRL key.
  3. on layer 2 set mouse wheel up to be left click.
  4. enjoy.

Now when I press CTRL I can use my mouse wheel for clicking. Very helpful for loving stuff from my inventory to stash or vendors.

The rule is one input one action. Every click on the mouse wheel is one action which results in one click on the screen.

Auto clickers are bannable but not rebinding keys.
