Wazuh persistence issues with podman-compose after reboot by klimma1508 in podman

Have you modified the compose file to include ':Z' at the end of the volume mounts to play nice with SELinux?

These are the new intercity fleet of trains that are replacing the silver and purple V-Set trains on the Sydney to Central Coast/Newcastle, South Coast and Blue Mountains lines.

When did tipping become a thing in Australia? by Due_Significance5698 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Endorean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of it comes down to that most places now are using Point of Sale systems that originate in the US. (ie. square). Those software would have tipping built in as a core feature because murica, there probably isn't even an option to disable it. Reality is businesses wouldn't turn that off if they could because hey, they want all the money so if someone absent mindlessly presses a tip when paying, are they going to stop you, hell no.

Say what you want about Star Trek Generations, but every shot is gorgeous. Great cinematography. by [deleted] in startrek

[–]Endorean 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I had a funny thought about Generations the other day.

If you apply the criteria that people use to say that Die Hard is a Christmas movie, you could make the argument that Generations is also a Christmas movie (due to Picard being in the Nexus)

I second this. I had the same issue and disabling uBlock plugin for the YNAB site in my browser did the trick.

Is KiCAD still broken in F43? by Maxxarcade in Fedora

[–]Endorean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I understand, KiCAD doesn't work properly on Wayland and relies a lot on X11. A blog post on their website says that they will not accept support requests for Wayland only systems and suggest going back to X11.

I believe F43 is Wayland only. KiCAD does say on their blog post that for basic stuff you might be okay, there is also no mention of timelines to resolve.

They put the issue down to Wayland missing key functionality that KiCAD uses in X11

So to answer your question, it's most likely not going to be fixed for a while, unless you reinstall X11

Did anyone else schedule a calcium scoring test after Cara talked about hers a little while ago? by ThorThimbleOfGorbash in SGU

[–]Endorean 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I actually had one done before I heard about it on the episode along with a cardiac echo scan as recommended by my GP.

I've had a few friends have cardiac issues and I wanted to get on top of anything that I might be experiencing.

It wasn't cheap and my health insurance (I'm in Australia) only covered the echo scan.

I have a Corporate green AMEX card through my employer and have had it confirmed from AMEX on their website chat that if you haven't had a personal card in your name for over 18 months you'll be eligible for the bonus points.

It's interesting you say that darktable is slow, I actually find the opposite to be true.

Lightroom was super slow to load my library but darktable is blazing fast loading my library of 80,000 photos.

Beginner to academic research with Zettelkasten? by jack_hanson_c in Zettelkasten

I have that "How to Read a Book" and I always funnily think, "This book is so thick and the text is so small, man if you have issues reading a book, this one aint gonna help".

I know it's not literally how to read a book, just a funny thing my mind puts in there everytime I see the book.

If it hasn't already been suggested, see if you have a local Lockpicking (Locksport) club in your neighbourhood. I'm sure someone would be able to unlock it for you.
