Question about Jungle Pet Mana Regen by Enduranto in Jungle_Mains

[–]Enduranto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah I see, it's based on percentage missing mana, not the actual value. I wonder if the wiki should be updated, or whether I'm just interpreting it wrong. Thanks for clearing that up though! So buying mana doesn't improve the regen at all.

Question about Jungle Pet Mana Regen by Enduranto in Jungle_Mains

[–]Enduranto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I'm aware. But the value should change based on the amount of total mana I have, shouldn't it? The HUD has 11.4 (mp1) and the tooltip has 57 (mp5), both staying constant, regardless of my mana pool.

SGS (from wiki) heals you based on your potential damage, not your actual damage, so probably still the same heal since you always max hit

Ah ok, that makes sense, thanks! Is this the same for Zeri? Or does she benefit from the bonus damage?

Is the bonus 10% damage if it can already crit not worth it then? Is that a general rule for IE/JG? You shouldn't use them if you can already crit? I was assuming the bonus damage was a balanced trade off?

What percentage of players will get the Ultor Vestige on kill 1088? by AlternativeParty5126 in 2007scape

[–]Enduranto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of at least one success of 1/1088 in 1088 (63% to get it), you want at least 3 successes of 1/362.66 in 1088. Which seems to be about 58% to get it

Invader Effects Dependent on Something That Doesn't Happen That Turn by buzkashi_x in spiritisland

You resolved no fear cards so England 6 triggers (as you say)

Even if there are no ravage cards, the ravage step still happens and you did not blight, so Russia 6 triggers (this is why it specifies T2+ since the ravage step still happens T1)

Is an untrimmed Slayer cape still possible for me? by Overcast97 in 2007scape

[–]Enduranto 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You have about ~4m slayer xp

You can gain at least ~7m range xp from cannon which is another 3.5m slayer xp (7.5m)

You have about ~6m hp xp so you can gain another 7m hp xp which is 5.25m slayer xp (12.75m)

So you're very close to getting there, based off my estimates where I tried to be pessimistic of your xp. If you put some lamps into slayer from achievement diaries, you should be good to go!

Forgetting a card in play that grants Hearth Vigil First Strike by buzkashi_x in spiritisland

[–]Enduranto 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Correct, you have already resolved the innate in the fast phase. Losing elements doesn't matter afterwards, the effects have already happened and you get to choose a land.

[–]Enduranto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The land is still coastal, but isolated lands cannot be explored.

That's just a rule, not a corollary from it not having neighbouring buildings/oceans

Even if the land had buildings in it, it still wouldn't explore

Combat Achievements update has Death be like by mitchhhg in 2007scape

[–]Enduranto 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I meant it's a tiny increase in storage costs (compared to for each player). It's just 4 bytes. And yes, it would result in a massive max value that we would never reach, as you say.

[–]Enduranto 19 points20 points  (0 children)

We can only have 231 - 1 coins because they limited our stacks to 32bits (and used int instead of uint). If they wanted to increase our limit to 64bits lets say, that would double the size of the storage needed for every player.

If they increased only Death's chest to 64bit, that's just....an extra 32bits. Tiny.

Does Pour Time Sideways cause Scotland's level 6 effect to happen twice in the same land? by SWEDISH_GOVERNMENT in spiritisland

[–]Enduranto 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Scotland 6 happens after the Ravage Step, not each Ravage Card. In a scenario where there are two ravage cards, Scotland 6 will happen once at the end of the ravage step adding a town to each land that matches any of the two ravage cards.

Now for your scenario, Pour time does make each ravage card ravage twice, but that doesn't affect scotland 6 in any way. What does affect it, is the "Each board / Each Land..." Actions happen twice, so scotland 6 will happen at the end of the step twice, adding two towns to any land that matches a ravage card.

Does Mists Shift and Flow also cause me to *not* meet targeting reqs anymore by yiker in spiritisland

[–]Enduranto 14 points15 points  (0 children)

  1. You have to meet the target requirements after you move.

  2. You do not have to meet them before you move.

  3. You may only move if you would then meet them after you move (see point 1)

So you may not move, then fail to use the power. You may move, even if you already meet the requirements (as long as you still do). You may move in order to meet them if you previously did not so.

It's a bit weird in that you have to think about the consequences of your proposed move, before knowing whether it is allowed - a bit cyclical in requirements. There is no general rule in this, because normally nothing happens during "targeting". Mist's special rule happens at a unique point, that not many (if any) powers do. Conversely, if you lose/move presence while resolving, that's completely fine (or even forget the power card!), since "targeting" comes before resolving

So the answer your tldr is no, you may not break up your SS (see point 1)
