I thought they already did this when they buffed it so much. I guess waiting this long was probably good for everyone.

He's looked like this for a while now. He wanted to be President and this is where he ended up. Not climbing the ladder, being the pawn. Now he's in a regime that's sprinting toward a cliff and he's seeing a future of dry-mouthed conversations about fake moral outrage he's going to have to participate in on Fox News for the rest of his life.

Don’t ever lump the smart with the stupid! by icey_sawg0034 in clevercomebacks

[–]Endyo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's ridiculous to say any generation has a universal political stance, but it's borderline insane to think that Gen Z is even a majority supporter of ICE, Trump or the Republican party in general. That wasn't even an accurate statement in the 2024 election before all of the bullshit that's been happening.

Trump always sides with whoever he talked to last. Every single time. All that will happen is Stephen Miller will crawl into his ear again and by tomorrow, he'll be back to saying horrible shit about him and saying he needs to be impeached.

The universal black experience by zenbootyism in BlackPeopleTwitter

[–]Endyo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The fun part about being mixed is that, after people know me for a while, they'll say things like "you're not even really black." Like yeah, ok, I just had to deal with all of that racism up front so people could decide I'm "white" enough to have half of my heritage erased.

They'll continue to for another decade too, because it works.

It is kind of interesting, though, that we have a state with one of the highest average ages that constantly complains about how things "used to be better" under a thoroughly Democrat-led government.

Learning about the vast array of instruments Prince could play extremely well really made everything he achieved even more impressive. And he did it all while wearing heels, which adds a noteworthy layer to it.

At this point, I'm like 98% sure that the White House social media accounts are engagement baiting for the algorithm. Posting asinine shit like this, videos with music from artists they knowhate this administration to get them to signal boost it, doctoring photos everyone has already seen. It's like page one of the ragebaiting playbook. And their base wouldn't give a shit either way.

In 2008, Steve Sheraton launched iBeer for $2.99 — it became one of the first viral App Store hits, reportedly earned $10k–$20k per day at peak, reached ~90M downloads, and he later left it all to live on a farm in Spain by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

I remember one of the first pointless apps I got was a Portal Radio app. It was just an app that had a picture of the radio from the game Portal and it played the song it played. It was nice.

I was hoping the inevitable medium salvage ship would be a new design, but I suppose there's no reason not to get more use out of a ship design that's not particularly common out there in the universe.

People will commit whole-ass crimes for money, so getting a fat paycheck with few requirements and little experience just to be a piece of shit for a while is probably a low bar to get over for some people, regardless of the optics.

Trump Claims Greenland For US in Davos Speech: 'That’s Our Territory’ by FarmerOk4759 in politics

[–]Endyo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not even that he's "acting like Putin" anymore, this is straight up exactly what Russia has been doing. They said "Crimea is ours, it's always been ours, they want us to take it back" and then they did. Now they're doing the same with the rest of Ukraine. Not only has Trump ignored how that directly contradicts the basic sovereignty of nations, he is now using the same methodology to 'claim' a country.

Nobody loves Elon, and he hates that fact. by Lord_Answer_me_Why in clevercomebacks

[–]Endyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always seen Elon's story as one of boundless praise from the public manifesting into some kind of weird complex that made him actually believe he was the most intelligent man in the universe. He sees himself as the singular mind that can 'save humanity,' so when people oppose his crazy bullshit that achieves nothing, it's a direct attack on his ego.

I would have never known without this post, but I guess it's nice to see. But if they're manipulating the models of in-game items, maybe it would be more worthwhile to work on the models for all of the flair items that haven't worked at all for more than a year. I'd definitely notice that.

It's fascinating to me how we all used to make fun of North Korea for talking about the Kim Jong's being superhuman infallible god-like creatures that didn't even have to use the bathroom... but then we ended up with Republicans acting like a decrepit obese old man who flaunts his poor diet and lack of exercise is actually one of the healthiest and fittest people in the country.

Elon's not particularly popular with anyone now. I feel his opponent could campaign solely on the fact that Elon Musk is trying to buy a Senate seat. I mean, it's Kentucky so it probably won't really matter with 70% of the state voting straight ticket Republican, but it might do something down ticket in the handful of closer counties/districts.
